You ever thought about putting the sectional sofa in a different position, facing the fireplace, and putting your tv above the fireplace, so you have a more open concept? You could get a small ottoman and put that in front of the sofa. Just some suggestions. Love watching you! You give me so much motivation to do my house.

Agreed - the glass ensured it didn’t look cluttered, the touch of gold tied in with the lights in kitchen & other elements and it’s a space for minimal decor when u want to add some; but the tables are nice & interesting enough that nothing is required. I prefer a coffee table. The space appears large enough with the open concept that it doesn’t appear cluttered when I watch your videos on my tv... maybe it feels different in “real life” though! What do Chase & Savy think? 😉

My vote is for your new gold coffee table to return! It will make your room look more complete and function better when y'all want to enjoy drinks and snacks when TV watching. Your home is just so pretty! I have to laugh because it absolutely looks like you are cleaning an already clean house! I know it's not the case but you and Chase and Savvy are not messy and camera does not show evidence of dust. I love how George and Tyger follow you around the house! Such sweet helpers!! Loved it! I vote no coffee table. But ultimately it’s up to you. Also I love your floors! And for the people saying you clean a clean house. I think the correct phrase is you clean a tidy house. Just because your house is tidy and not cluttered. That doesn’t mean there isn’t ever dust or dirt or dog hair! ❤️ you do you girl!! 🙌🏻

Hi Ashley - I had a round tufted ottoman/coffee table. I LOVED it, I could put my feet up to relax or put a tray on it whenever I wanted or needed to place something on top. It was also on wheels, so very easy to move.

Hi, Ashley. Love the coffee table. But I think small ottoman or puffs for your feet would look better. The lamp does go well in your office. I can't wait to see your new lamp. I’m a little stressed by your “all in” method of doing laundry. I am a fanatic about laundry (I am a seamstress - love textiles - and I like to iron) so I separate everything. Light colors in cold, dark colors in cold, whites in how, warm wash for skivvies/jeans/tee shirts, separate load for towels, another for sheets, one load for “rags”. I can’t imagine putting everything in one load and then putting everything in the dryer ... even your lingerie. OK, I am of a different generation (63 yo). I don’t vacuum multiple times a day - different priorities. 😁

Love your new home and all of your videos. Floor is very pretty but wood is warmer and easier on all of your joints and ceramic tends to flatten out the feet more over time especially for overweight gals. It's also a little bit safer for kids when they fall. That being said....love your music and enjoy putting you on the big screen while I'm cleaning. Getting started is the hardest part so thanks for your help!!

Good Morning! Thank you for the cleaning motivation! I'm going to go clean now, haha. Your question about the coffee table, I recently took mine out in December and I realized that I actually needed it more than I thought because I put my drinks on it while sitting in front of the table and without it, it made me a little nuts because I had nowhere to put them except on the floor. With dark wood floors, that is definitely not happening. So you have to decide whether that is something you need or don't need yourself. That little table by the armrest may do the trick for you all if its just a few things you need to use a table for. Hope that helps a little. Can't wait to see your cleaning hacks on Sunday! I love the coffee table and say yes. I did the same thing in my home, got rid of my table and after a while I got a different one, just feels so elegant but like home with it. As far as the carpet lines I love them, I don’t like the foot prints on my plush carpets though- I recommend a carpet rake from Amazon- super affordable and Savy might like to use that in her room 😊 love the new house and all the decor. My daughters and I watch both channels and my oldest says “this is so satisfying 😌”.

I love this fireplace so much! The mantle is so unique. Also, I would put the coffee table back and add a large dough bowl that has the same wood tones as your mantle. Add a candle, large plant, maybe some beads and coasters. It all goes in the large bowl so you can always move it when you need to. That’s how I have mine. I got it at Hobby Lobby.

I have a desk like that and needed to make it bigger so my dad made a wood top and I painted it white just a thought. I also just carry a spray bottle around when I mop in case I need more water. Love your home.

For your office desk top, have you thought about painting a thick board white ? If you put enough coats of polyurethane on it you will get that shine. Another idea is to get a thick piece of glass and maybe frosting the underside ? That would be pretty. Everything is coming along nicely.
