Hey Tim, Kinda new here but just wanted to ask some questions on the monetization and release model. 1. Would you consider having tiers for the B-side app? e.g. 3,6, and 9 dollars. Why? It would serve as an option for those who have capacity and interest in certain podcasts on the app. I personally would be willing to pay just for the basement and Carl Lentz's podcast but don't have much interest or capacity for the others. There is a lot of content on the app but from my cursory experience the form factors and focuses seem very similar. But again, still new here. 2. Can you communicate some clarity on the KZfaq release model? Why? To go from 3hr videos to 30min is quite a harsh change and even makes the clips channel feel superfluous. As I've mentioned above I'm totally fine with monetization, it just feels like recently every post is like Russian roulette. Also, there was an ad where Lecrae mentioned a possibility of getting the full episodes but just week later than the app. He said other possibilities but it did create an expectation. So some clarity would help because as it is, its almost like the main channel is just an ad for b-side and not always a viable stand alone experience. I think it can be both and I'd say something like 1hr pods would make sense. But again, just got here. Sincerely 🙌🏿

I want to address something that I'm really tired of hearing. It's frustrating when preachers try to make Christians feel guilty for being born in the west. Yes, it's terrible that Christians are being persecuted and killed in other countries, but ultimately, it's God's responsibility. He's allowing this to happen. God is the one who allowed us Christians in the west to be born and live here, so we shouldn't be condemned for living in a place that God placed us in. It is crucial to understand that Jesus did not just die for us to go to heaven. Our connection with God is not solely for the purpose of going to heaven. Both God and Jesus have promised to help us, and I'm not just referring to material wealth. God has assured us of his assistance. Finally, we need to dispel the idea that God doesn't cause bad things to happen in order to bring us closer to Him or teach us a lesson. The book of Hebrews, chapter 12, discusses discipline and how God disciplines those whom He loves. In 1st and 2nd Peter, God allows us to suffer in order to draw us nearer to Him. He also permitted Job to suffer to prove a point to Satan, even though Job had done nothing wrong. I've been taught that salvation through Jesus Christ is about more than just reaching heaven, but I could be mistaken. If it's only about getting into heaven, then why should we go to church or seek a relationship with God beyond accepting Christ? We need chill with these rants about Western Christian needs not being important.

Hey! I think when preachers bring up this point they don’t do it from a place of persecution and condemnation but rather from a place of revealing a bias to us that we sometimes can be blinded to. Naturally the biases we carry through culture can shape the way we walk and talk about Christianity and think preachers bring it up to serve as a reminder to check out biases. You should not feel guilty for where you have been born but it is important not to allow it to shape your perspective of who God. If you listen to many American or “Western” preachers these days that speak about wealth and material things, and tried to apply it to other countries or cultures you can see how it is not consistent which leads to the idea that God is not consistent or that perhaps He has favorites. The book “Misreading Scripture with Western Eyes” really helped me see where my own blind spots were. Be encouraged!

Also I agree with Christianity being about more than just heaven. We are meant to be ambassadors for Christ here on Earth (2 Cor. 5:20; Phil. 1:23-25) and I can agree that sometimes God does allow “bad” things to happen for His glory. I think what we have to recognize is that what we deem as “good” is different than what God views as good. We think good = pleasure, comfort, riches, success; and anything outside of that is “bad.” But perhaps Gods “good” is persecution and suffering for His glory…? definitely interesting to think about
