The McMahon family owes Bruno's family a debt that they can never repay because quite likely, without Bruno, there would be no WWE today!

The term legend gets thrown around way too much but not in Bruno's case. He earned every single letter in the word LEGEND. Bruno Sammartino was and always will be, A TRUE LEGEND.

Bruno is a legend, and a man's man. One of the most respected wrestlers of all-time. Even Mike Tyson idolized him! He was almost a God in the Northeast during the 60's/70's.

Most impressive thing about Bruno truly is his memory.....like a steel trap. Talking about things more than FIFTY YEARS AGO and remembers incredible detail. You just don't get the sense that he's simply making it up (as a lot of wrestlers do).

Bruno was and remains the one and only truthsayer in the business...everything he says is a lesson in Wrestling, and life as well.

Bruno was The Man. He was still at it in the 80s. He's one of the last legitimate bad asses. Anyone who ever Ran afoul of him were in trouble.

The history of Pro Wrestling has always fascinated me. My friends and I always had a lot of fun watching the WWWF on TV and going to The Spectrum on Saturdays. Coming across these trailers brought back so many fun memories for me that I had to order The Bruno DVD. I received it in the mail three days later . I enjoyed every minute of this great interview. Entertaining as well as informative. Bruno is a great storyteller. Kayfabe did a wonderful job with this series. Thank you.

I used to love when Bruno did commentary with Vince Jr. in the late 70s. " Well Vince , he's certainly not addicted to gym work".

I could listen to Bruno all day long. What a class act and real gentleman. When Bruno speaks of the old days I feel like I’m getting the TRUE story. In this interview he could’ve let the interviewer’s claim about Jilly Rizzo actually pulling a gun on Fred Blassie go by without clarification - certainly it makes for a better story. But no: while agreeing that Jilly was mad as hell at Blassie, Bruno points out there was no gun involved and I tend to believe him. I wonder why Bruno didn’t like Antonio Inoki? Of all pro wrestlers I’ve ever known of - and as someone who’s longtime favorite wrestler is Chief Jay Strongbow - there’s NO ONE who comes closer to being a first-class man than BRUNO SAMMARTINO. Rest In Peace, my paisan. You are a credit to Italian-Americans everywhere.

I'm related to Bruno he is my cousin from my fathers side he and my grandfather were good friends/cousins my dad once told me when I was little that I was related to Bruno and I remember flipping out I thought that was the coolest thing to be related to such a legend he's definitely come a long way I never had the chance to meet him in person his sister visits every once in a while with my grandmother and she came to my parents wedding along with a few of Bruno's relatives

If he was active today, he could beat these alcoholic , steroids freaks. The man was amazing. Some of you folks make comments that show your true mentality. The man met me, when I was 14. He stopped what he was doing and gave me an autograph. He truly cared about his fans. You think people go crazy for Steve Austin, John FCena ? Nothing compared to the reactions Bruno received. Buddy Rogers was too into himself and to hell with the fans...he was hurting the business(no shows) and Bruno Sammartino was more humble and saved the business...

He was talking to my 13 year old son and asked him if he had a sister, and then asked "Is she a teenager? (she is 15) I'd really enjoy talking to her if you can get her on", then asked her name and if she has a KZfaq channel and said "I think Im ur neighbor, where did u say u guys live again?" My son told my wife and I, and I tried to talk to him but hes blocked us.

He hated Rodgers cause Rodgers was part of a kliq that did the same thing the 90s kliq did, which was hog the spotlight. Besides that they black balled him from territory after territory. He was only allowed back after business started going down and he came back on the conditions that it wasn't going to be the same.

This MAN is legendary, is presence must be respect-demanding! The only thing I criticize about Bruno is that he didn't seem to like many people! I think he trashed Lou Thesz in this one saying that he didn't have it already in the 60'!

I love Bruno but he is still sticking to the story of the Rogers match as a shoot here. Maybe I'm wrong,but I doubt if it was.
