Exactly, I need to sell my rolex but I only have 5 minutes and not 7. As if a dealer will be pressured into buying a watch when they are offered hundreds every day. Even talking in a foreign language out of earshot from the dealer when you know English they may as well ask the dealer how much will he offer for a fake to stop wasting everyone's time.

Fakes are potentially life savers if you are mugged. I wore 4 fakes in Brazil over several years and they were so bad I only lost one in a mugging. I felt sorry for the thief. He didn't hurt me or insult me or even point a gun at me he just lifted his shirt to reveal the handgun and told me not to get close and I placed the $10 monstrosity on the floor.

@@PrinzAquatic In Brazil you need to have something to give up. I generally dont walk around with my phone or watch. I have a decoy wallet with $20 USD in there so I have something to give them. If you have nothing you have a good chance of getting shot.

Some people maybe can’t afford the real one but like how they look so they buy an EXACT replica to have it for cheaper. Nothing wrong with that… it’s how they wear it that matters and they like the style. I’m good with my Apple Watch loll but if I were to ever get a Rolex I might as well get a great replica one for $200-300 than to pay thousands of dollars for the exact same one. If you get mugged guess what? You just lost $200-$300 rather than $10k and crying your ass off with a wrist with no watch. To each their own… Most times you have to take off a watch and let someone look very close to details to spot it fake because of how good the replicas are now a days. Who’s gonna take off their watch in the middle of the day so someone can visualize it? No one loll I would tell you go look it up online or buy one.

@@taysmith9321 Nothing wrong with wearing the replica stuff. They like how a Specific Rolex looks but can’t afford it so go ahead and get your fake one. I don’t see anything wrong with that. What I do I see however is if you wear a fake one and all of a sudden you think you’re better than anyone 🤣 I don’t think it’s sad, I think it’s sadder that you think about other people wardrobe instead of minding your own business and let them be. Now that’s sad. If they want to wear the fake stuff let them, it’s not hurting you at all. You feel entitled to judge someone else then you are part of the problem 😅 just let them be with their fake stuff and you got your real Rolex. You’re not hurting them and they are not hurting you. Let them hurt the brand, that brand cares less about you too and what you could possibly think even for the positive.

You should hate the real thing more than fakes. If they need an expert and his microscope + disassembly of watch to tell the difference between a 300$ watch and a 50k+$ watch then maybe its not worth it in the first place.

If you understand watches you’ll know that people don’t pay 50K for a Rolex only for the quality but most of all for the brand recognition. Those people are real successes with real money. Last thing they would want is to save to have a cheap knockoff instead of the real deal

@@issadraco532 wow man, lot’s of blabbing. Bottom line Rolex are crazy expensive because people attribute value to quality but most of all about the brand status. You’d have to follow a few classes to understand this principle of luxury brands and why they are able to charge the price they want for these items. Oh by the way it’s not good to compare 🍎 to 🍌

not every watch is available from an authorized dealer (ie everything discontinued). Buy from a trusted dealer.

Did anyone notice at 1:44, the guy was trying to interapt Anthony and the cameraman with the phone, while the other guy picked up the watch and pass it behind the back. Looks like they were trying to still a watch and replace it with fake, you should be very careful! Love your videos!

I have to chuckle when I watch this. I remember buying a seiko 5 online for $120 and I was very suspicious, lol. I plan on getting a Bulova Lunar for $350. Would never pay more for a watch, lol. Definitely enjoyed watching the content, though.

Rather interesting. For whatever reason, this video showed up in my suggested list. You can take what I know about watches and it wouldn't fill a thimble. But I watched it anyway; never hurts to learn something new. I found it absolutely fascinating. Although I have heard of Rolex, I had no clue there is a world out there of exotic watches and scandalous people trying to fence them. Now I am kind of intrigued. I will definitely watch more.

That women talking about the watch outside with broke my heart. She clearly thought it was worth something as she talked about all the places she took it to. I couldn’t have spoken to her that long and it looked Anthony spoke to her that long for footage. His prerogative.

Completely agree. This wasn’t some uppity middle class suburban housewife he was sticking it to. He could have softened the blow a bit and said “it looks nice” or that it’s a good fake. The “throw it in the bin” was just cruel

@@Tazza81 No. No police. That's not necessary at all. Here in the USA if you find something it's yours. There's no need to waste law enforcement's time because somebody dropped their watch on the floor. Where do you live that you have to report something lying on the ground to the police?

@@JeffScott-1978 I live in New Jersey. While there is no legal obligation to hand in lost property, for high value items such as a Rolex the decent thing to do would be to hand it into police as every precinct has a lost property department.
