Tinker is the pinnacle test of how consistent you are with following the right algorithm and the proper chronological order and how long can you keep it up

I was a Sand King mainer before a someone in our enemy team picked tinker spammed us to death with rockets. I fell in love with the hero cause it's so good especially at trolling and tilting enemies. Mr. Editor finally uploaded the whole gameplay and though i haven't finished it, I think its going to be a good video as always. Love the vids, Grubster.

Tinker is one of those heroes that you have to see someone who knows how to use him well. Then you REALLY get to see how busted the hero can be. NothingToSay is a phenomenal tinker player Some tips: You generally don't want to re-arm while under vision. Better players will try to hunt you down, and being able to interrupt your channeling can be a death sentence, especially since you are a hero that drains a lot of gold from the map. You dying is a lot more detrimental to the team from the simple effect of you being able to push out multiple lanes. You want to tp into lane, laser the creep wave and instantly blink INTO THE TREES so they don't know where you went. Use being hidden in the trees to safely rearm, cast the laser against the creepwave and insta-blink again, repeat until you feel like the enemy is heading for you. TP to fountain, tp back to another lane and repeat. this allows you to (relatively) safely and quickly farm/push out lanes, getting an early item/level advantage over the enemy since you can effectively farm multiple lanes. Once you feel you are ready to join early skirmishes, you have to approach it with the above concept somewhat in mind. Tinker should be playing around the edge of the teamfight until its safe for you to get closer. Even then, you will almost never want to blink right on top of the enemy for a laser, always try to maximize the safest position of your hero that would allow you blast them and get out. If you're still learning the hero, aether lens is an ok item to pick up as its a cheap method of getting a cast range increase and provides some extra mana for you to work with. This lets you stay safer when attempting to push lanes/join fights, at least until you get the feel of the character.

Warp flare is great when the team enemies are melee and go near you always.

i'm still a wc3 player since same time as grubby, ~2003 not because of Grubby but I used to watch him alot 'cause of him playing the same game as me but 100x the level. I think Grubby is the only one who's gotten me closer to getting into dota2. Grubby has done a good job on twitch getting the viewer base which was probably his goal when reforged was announced. I'm happy for him. he's grinded a lot in video games. I remember when he used to shun dota2 because he compared it to like LoL and LoL or HoTS being the easier path and Dota2 is for nerds and now he's really gotten into it over the past year and it's inspiring. nice work Grubby. I understand not coming back to wc3. Player base is small and tourney level is always Happy winning nowadays and severe neglect from blizzard. Don't forget wc3 sometimes though :D

Sometimes when u have fps drops, especially on the main menu you can type in chat /clear and it will fix it. Can also close open chat boxes/layers. Yes TEXT causes lag in 2022. Game is still beta.

So Timbersaw might be ONE of the most unique heroes in the game. But Tinker IS THE most unique character in the game. He doesn't play the game like anyone elese. Cooldowns? Irrelevant. Space? Irrelevant. He's everything, everywhere, all at once. The only hero who can permanently hard disable someone indefinitely. Because permanently immune to physical damage. Doesn't buy boots because blink is almost exclusively how he moves. Looks at minimap more than he looks at himself. He's just such a weirdo. You aren't playing Dota2 at that point. You're just playing Tinker.

This guy seems like a lot of fun.

Laser is good in early games so the enemy cannot last hit or deny the creep.

Once again absolutely astonishing gameplay from a first time player, if I saw this I'd think it was a tinker spammer. I hope to see more of this hero from, I think it suits your playstyle. I do think hex before shiva is a mistake tho, shiva just gives so much of what you need: pushing wave and getting vision (for rockets/lasers), especially better players will try to line of sight you in trees and such. But your build worked out fine too

laser is really potent utility since its damage type is pure. you can really ruin someone's day with it.

In the earlier days of tinker bkb linken sphere is unlimited due to his ultimate they patched and nerfed it cuz its god op. Then his third skill is march of the machine crazy farm attack and defense

watching a pro replay is more for teaching you how tinker uses blink instead of thinking you blink in with tinker :)

Go for shift skill +item. Ex. Is bottom creep is pushing go tp bot +shift dagger to the trees +laser+dagon then rearm shift+dagger then reposition+laser+dagon or chivas

there is two builds for tinker. if u are unsure about how confident and brave u are on this hero u should buy aghs. if u play this hero quite a lot and u are confident in urself u should buy shiva

For me tinker is just annoying to play. You always have to do the same things in the same order over and over and over. It's probably great for ocd people that get off on high apm but for me it's just a chore to play.
