It doesn’t matter which country you are in, if you can find a Gurudwara (sikh temple) you’ll be fed and taken care of. I myself am a Hindu but so thankful for the sikh community. I am student in the Philippines and I stay in a remote city and thankfully there is a gurudwara here in the city.

Just one information if you guys are not aware... Steve Jobs, Apple founder used to have meals in Iskcon Temple in USA, during his early days when he didn't have a big name.. in Iskcon Temple also food is free.... Similar to what you saw in Golden Temple...

Trust me the langar food is probably the best food you are ever gonna eat. I visit Gurudwara with my sikh friends and I just love the food.

So true , you know i m not sikh but my house was just beside a gurudwara , it was small still they used to have huge langar and i have been eating that food in my childhood so so much. , Like i remember leaving my home food and going to langar , though we left that house and shifted when i was 7 years still i remember langar the most

Sikh Community. One of the best on the planet. They have this langar system in any Gurudwara in any part of the planet. They have set up free food stations during the calamities, typhoons, hurricanes in the US and UK often.

Definitely it’s a miracle. There are mega kitchens in different places where thousands of people can eat food for free. It’s amazing skill of people behind such mega kitchens. People are happy to contribute in many ways.

I would like to add a side note. All the groceries are donations. People donate 20 / 50 / 100 sacks of flour, chickpeas, black gram, rice, sugar, salt, spices, vegetables etc. But so many people donate in such large quantities, that often the store rooms (30-40) are overflowing, the corridors are full, packed & sealed tins (of ghee etc) are left in open courtyards, covered by tarpaulins, and the management has to often request donors to delay the donations.

Hindus persecute Christians and are killing them so it goes both ways. Overall being humanitarian is good but to love others with the love of The one true God is true love. Love God and love your neighbor, Jesus said. Sharing the gospel and meeting people's needs and loving people. To be generous and kind is to follow the conscience that The heavenly Father gave you.

You should try the temple food of India. Puri Jagarnath temple cooks food for more than 50k people everyday and there are no leftovers.

You haven't seen how the volunteers sit at shoe rack stand and polish your shoes for free. Again some of these volunteers are also millionaires and billionaires. Sudha Murthy, a stalwart in her own right, philanthropist and wife to the founder of Infosys, mother inlaw of Rishi Sunak, cleans soiled plates in temples and makes flower garlands for devotees just like any other ordinary person. You should see these dimensions - heart fills up with joy, gratitude and contentment. Jai Shri Krishna Jai Ma Bharati 🙏 🚩
