😭😭😭😭 thank god I came on KZfaq today and the algorithm showed me your new video. 3 under 3, just moved house, partner in hospital, solo with the kids, sleep deprived, I have strep throat & one of my 2year old twins is next level at the moment. I’ve been failing to regulate my myself so I know I’m adding to the problem but I had lost all hope. Thank you for this perfectly timed video 😭❤️ I need to rewatch it before I start each day 😭😭😭💕

We have pretty much given up on gentle parenting. We are all so tense and sleep-deprived. It's so hard. This is what I need to hear.

Woooowww... that last bit was REALLY good. Like, not only does that help me with me as a mother to my daughters, but it helps me as a daughter to my mother. My mom was the self-sacrificing, martyr mother, and I have chosen to very intentionally not be that. So there's a lot of guilt, internal and external, when I don't play into that martyrdom. Hearing this about density, needs, boundaries, etc... How that means you get to have a real, authentic relationship rather than retreating! Really loved hearing all of that. Thank you 🙏

Explained so eloquently, thank you for this! I try to gentle parent my 2 year old and it can definitely be a challenge at times. You have to be consistent so they eventually find the boundary you were talking about. Thanks again!

I definitely needed this. My toddler was the sweetest 2 year old ever, and then she turned 3 lol even when I pick my battles, give her choices, and set safe boundaries it’s still very hard. Some days it’s hard to not feel bullied by her, even though I know that is not her intent!

It's so helpful to have this all pieced together! I'm struggling so much with toddler behaviour right now and it's just so great to be reminded this is all normal and that I'm not the only one dealing with it.
