The choir is from the school they went when they were kids, that's where they met. All the songs are McFly songs altered to fit the speech and it's pretty amazing. All About You (one at the end) was actually written for Giovanna (his wife) in 10mins for Valentine’s Day in the early 00s, and it ended up becoming one of McFlys biggest songs when it was released as the official comic relief single in 2005. The choir in the background was actually a choir from the school him and Gi met in. He actually proposed in there as well.

Tom and Gi are adorable- they met at the school the choir was from and have been together since before the band. They now have three kids and Tom writes children's books and Gi is a best selling author too. If you want to feel warm and fuzzy you should check out the little song videos he did for their kids (from bump to Buzz) I think it's called. McFly were one of the first newer bands that played and wrote all their stuff in the early 2000s, and Tom and his sister Carrie were actually part of the original youtuber lot when youtube was still newer and full of a lot of people making music and vlogs about it. McFly are a really solid band friendship wise, they were all 15-18 when it started and have really shown up for each other when needed. Tom actually did a song with his kids during quarantine which is cute to check out too. They're a really interesti g study actually because they bridged the era of being a band before social media and then as it was taking off so they embraced vlogging and bts videos etc and you really got to know them better than most bands before probably.

Tom and Gi now have 3 adorable little boys. I have enjoyed watching his family grow up through the various videos he posts - starting with his very creative pregnancy announcements, to the amazing video he made documenting Gi's pregnancy and the beautiful song he wrote when his first son was born. Their boys are taking after Mom and Dad by being musically gifted. They have made their own band called Buxby (a combination of their names) and even though the oldest boy is probably only six or seven they are quite good. They will be opening for McFly in no time. You should check out some more of the videos on his channel. His sister (the one he thanked for singing at their wedding) is also a very good singer. She does a lot of musical theatre in London. McFly just released a new song called Happiness that I think you would enjoy.

So glad you enjoyed this. I grew up watching/listening to them and I remember walking into a music shop when I was 7 with my mum to buy their first single on CD. I went off them a few years later but then this video came out and went viral and got sucked straight back in again. Radio:ACTIVE is now in my top 5 most listened to albums of all time and that’s with a decade long hiatus with them almost. But if you do go down the rabbit hole, start with the newest single which was released yesterday (it features Mark Hoppus which only made me happier), I’ve had it on repeat the whole day 😂
