Yes yes! Finally got round to making a breakdown of one of the late Tony Allen's grooves! In this drum lesson, we are learning to play the drums to Go Back, a collab with Damon Albarn and a banger!

This is great dude 🙌 Nice mix of groove and linear drumming. Definitely recommend watching the Tony Allen Boiler room masterclass he did with Moses Boyd - he makes it look so effortless. Thanks for the video!

Expensive Sh!t would be awesome to see. Ive kinda worked it out but I'm missing something. Water No Get Enemy is a life altering groove too. Tony Allen is truly one of the Gods. I mean ...in this video...look at him. He is thousands of years old and carved out of granite. His playing influences weather patterns.

Nice one mate :) Although you are playing it soft you are still playing it too hard . The softer you play Afro beats , better they will sound . Cheers mate and keep the good work !!!
