Ive owned this trimmer for over 6 years and this MOFOKO rocks HAS serious power CONSIDERING ITS electric. YES I KNOW GASOLINE ITS WHERE THE BIG BOSS POWER IS AT. When using it I carry a small brush to clear the vents. Wish it came with a different head. I will change it when it wears out and swap it out for the other dewalt lower profile head. The battery after 6 years i noticed has lost some capacity but still gives you at least 10-15 minutes of full throttle under heavy load. Of course more run time when only using it to trim regulat grass and not a forest situation.

Great Video. Currently using Ryobi 40v trimmer. Use Ryobi 40v battery power lawnmower for back yard and Ryobi 48 zero turn for front. But 5 years from now we will have to see.

I have the same trimmer, maybe 6+ years - Great Trimmer! When I bought it at Lowes, it came with a battery and a mail in offer for an additional free battery These days the 40v battery packs seem to be not available, or hard to find - out of stock at HomeDepot ($269 each!) Amazon has the off brand at $100 and there are some cheaper on ebay I may look at rebuilding battery packs when they fail. Thoughts on batteries when they finally die?

Hey Rick! Thanks for watching and commenting. When I bought this trimmer I also bought a 40v blower - both are still running great. So I had two batteries, one of the batteries went bad shortly after warranty so I have been running both using only the one battery. But I recently bougth an off brand at Amazon that has been performing well. Sorry, but I have no experience in rebuilding battery packs. Here is the one I bought but now it says it's currently unavailable - www.amazon.com/dp/B0B2WJ53W2?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
