I agree. He’s a very underrated manager. Everyone raves about Klopp & Conte but what Eddie Howe did at Bournemouth imo was one of the most impressive things in football. On a shoe-string budget he took Bournemouth from the relegation zone in league 2 where they almost went into administration - and got them promoted to league 1, then got them promoted to the championship, then got them promoted AGAIN to the premier league and kept them there for 5 years.

I also pray to all the rest of our fans, if we’re rock bottom come January please don’t starting calling for his head. Were you around in Kevin Keegan’s time as manager - I visited their first team training and it changed my whole philosophy of what training sessions could be like. When Kevin had players in for trials he would get them to play head volley tennis. If they were good at that then he knew they would fit in. Once you’ve seen the likes of Les Ferdinand et al all going full on in the drills etc AND having the best of times doing so we’re some of the best sessions I’ve ever seen.

@@iseetruth4917 To be honest with you Steve Bruce is a funny one. Nice guy tick. Lots of experience tick. Done a decent jobs at championship level clubs in the past (Birmingham, Hull etc) tick. However, his appointment at Newcastle was doomed from the start. Former Sunderland manager that just got the Sheffield Wednesday job previously, and truth be known that would've actually been about right for him. Maybe even lower, I see Mark Hughes is at Bradford now! Another manager I thought that was getting premier League level jobs far too easy. Both him and Bruce are managers that have been in the game for over two decades (which we have seen with most is difficult to keep up with the ever changing modern football world) and their presence in the changing room and the sideline is more likely beneficial to lower level football, where their reputation alone will count a hell of a lot more towards the players where maybe their tactical nous is lacking.

Baffling that Newcastle fans wants a confirmed murderer as its new owner instead of Ashley. The guy actually stone cold killed and tortured another person! Unbelivevable..

We need more of this, footage from inside kitchen - to stay connected with our club. Something that was clearly missed by previous owners.
