A meaningful phrase verbs. Thank Gabby a lot ! I'm a Vietnamese teacher and my plan is studying abroad. When I grew up, I had learnt English for a long time ultil I saw your videos, I thought that I must catch up my studying. I made up for learning English by picking out an English course in an English center. Personally, my study schedule was broken up into 4 skills and I went on studying English everyday. Sometimes I caved in changing my learning materials for a better progress. In addition to, I kicked myself off all groups to be more concentrated in studying. When I had time, I often self-taught to improve speaking skill .As a result, the progress was such clearly. Thank you Gabby - A committed teacher ! From Van with love !

Gabby, what would we do if we haven't got such a good English teacher like you? Phrasal verbs used to seem a really difficult topic for me as they have a lot of meanings depending just on a preposition that makes them pretty confusing, and plus there's a huuuge amount of them in the English language, but it has changed after I started watching your videos, so I've realized that I can learn them in a fun and interesting way and then use them appropriately in my speech and kinda be proud of myself)) Thank you!

I believe that phrasal verbs are intuitive given the fact you know the meaning of the verb and of the preposition, not always though when a phrasal verb has more than one meaning as put down or kick off you really need to know the significance and do not rely on guessing. I have always been using incorrectly "to grow up" also for the animals (my puppy is growing up) or with plants (that tree we planted four years ago grow up a lot). Cave in is new for me, never heard of it.

We picked out the apartments where we would like to live. As we've just moved to the United States, we had to put down a big deposit. A pool here is under renovation, they should catch up with fixing it as the weather is scorching in Florida. When I have time, I will get around to buy some home decor. I have an idea to make an online course about job searching, so I will break up this process in smaller steps. I should kick off my preparations ASAP.
