The only reason Zedd got toned down is because parents complained about him being too scary for a kid show

Honestly I think Mesagog deserves the top spot cause he’s legitimately intimidating and creepy in every scene he owns and is responsible for a ton of iconic moments most notability he’s the only main villain in power rangers history to cause another ranger main bad guy (lothor) to permanently be defeated and killed singlehandedly.

Power Rangers Light Speed has the most demonic villains

I agree with Mesagog's high placement on the list. Not only is he powerful, but he is also downright cruel and terrifying. In the Ninja Storm crossover episode, when Lothor's help proved to be useless to him, he defeated Lothor one on one in a quick fight in his laboratory and imprisoned him into one of his glass jars. I believe Mesagog is also the villain that came the closest to victory. He was mere seconds away from completing his goal, only for Connor to clutch and the Dino Rangers just managed to destroy his lab before he could complete his goal. Not only that, but he tortured his own servants. Ripping Elsa's powers from her once she was no longer useful and Zeltrax depended on Mesagog to even LIVE. I'm glad he got such a high spot on the list, it's definitely deserved. (Not to mention he could have killed Tommy, Trent and Mercer at various points in the series.)

I have a few honorable Mentions for this. Master Xandred, Serrator, Vrak

#1 should be Psycho Rangers. They gave the Rangers a run for their money. Most difficult villains ever!

Darkonda should be on the list. He had deceitful plans, kidnapped Carone as a kid and made her become Astronema, destroyed Dark Specter, almost destroyed the Astro-Delta Megazord and turned Ecliptor into Cyber-Ecliptor, who turned Astonema evil again. He deserves to be on this list.

Mesagog is the most scariest villain in the all seasons and have the best flashback/origin ever!

My favourite villain of all is Koragg, he's an amazing fighter, an honorable warrior and a real badass! I'm happy that he was at least mentioned :)

I liked the ending idea for Venjix in RPM. They close the door and then at the very end of the finale, the same door slowly creeps back open to continue the story possibly.

I think Mesagog should be #1. Him being Anton Mercer made battling him all the more dangerous for the Dino Rangers

My favorite one is the dinosaur thing from power rangers Dino thunder.

Lothor was my absolute favorite. He wasn’t the scariest, but he was definitely the biggest personality. I loved his fourth wall breaks and how he even served as a form of comic relief. He was just a fun villain.

One other thing that I would add to Trakeena's entry--the way she goes out in the crossover with Lightspeed Rescue is a fitting end for her character. In doing whatever it takes to destroy the Rangers, she gave up her beauty in Lost Galaxy, but in the crossover, she loses *everything* when she inadvertently turns into a Lovecraftian abomination.

You've got to give Divatox SOME credit for effectively destroying the power chamber and cutting off the rangers from the morphing grid, at least on Earth. Overall I didn't really care for her but she did do what no one else could before her. Although... The final turbo rangers were less experienced​ than the original ones so that could definitely add to them losing but still...

I always thought of Ecliptor as a much bigger threat than Astronima, even as a child. The whole her being Andros's sister thing was a great twist, but as far as being a compelling and menacing villain, I though Ecliptor was better.

I know these guys are exclusive to Super Sentai but the main villains of Toqger are one of my favorite ranger baddies. Not so much due to how evil or intimidating they were but due to how interesting and compelling their side story was. While the Rangers were busy fighting of the next random monster of the day, the villain basically had their own little soap opera drama going on between themselves. A love triangle, an arranged marriage, betrayals, side switching, rivalries, I honestly couldn't get enough of it.

Really? Just for funsies...Tommy/Green Ranger my favorite storyline...when I was a youngster.

Well to be fair, Trakeena was not as devious until she was unintentionally merged with Deviot in the cocoon.

Not enough said about Ransik He is one of the few villains ever to not be defeated by the Power Ranger team of their series. During the final fight, he defeats all the rangers singlehandedly. He ultimately chooses to surrender and turn himself in after seeing his hatred almost cost him Nadira ( his daughter ) :v

What Master Vile wasn't mentioned? He was the most successful villain, and Lord Zedd was jealous of it. Master Vile almost destroyed the commend center before Zedd did it.

Exposed in pure muscle, Lord Zedd reminded me a lot of Skeletor. Don't like that Goldar was just an honorable mention tho. The longer the shit goes on, the less intimidating they can be. I mean, you can't be kicking ass for 20+ years and still worry for even a second.

A lot of people don't remember this. Back in the Wild Force episode Forever Red they fought the remanence of the Machine Empire led by "General Venjix" it would be cool if that Venjix and the one from RPM are the same one.

Imperious is my all time favorite Power Rangers villain. He came up with such clever schemes and he had so many abilities with an arrogant attitude to match. He was truly in a league of his own.

I'm good with Zedd being #1 but the fact that Goldar was only an honorable mention, makes me sad...

Dai shi was an awesome villain because he was possessing jared and there was a legit connection between the villain and the good guy especially at the end. That finale was epic!!!

Here are my top ten Power Ranger villains and some reasons why: 1. Lord Zedd/Emperor of Evil (Original Power Rangers) (It's the most obvious and most popular choice. He is probably one of the most (if not the most) sinister Power Rangers villain and he has a very good design and sinister voice. He is certainly the creepiest villain. It is a shame that parents toned him down though. Having said that, he still deserves to be number 1 in my book.) 2. Astronema/Princess of Evil (In Space) (She is the cutest but one of the most sinister and deadly power rangers villains out there. Furthermore, she is skilled in hand to hand and weapon combat and in magic. In addition, she wasn't always evil. In fact, she was kidnapped by Darkonda and then brainwashed by Dark Specter and Ecliptor. Also, she is actually the sister of the red power ranger and the reveal showing that was awesome. Plus, she is the first villain to redeem herself in the next Power Rangers series after In Space. She reminds me of Darth Vader but without her wearing mask and without her dying.) 3. Ransik (Time Force) (He sounds and looks like a future time pirate. Plus, this is a villain you might want to feel sorry for because he was shunned from society after his chemical accident and that he is a half human and half mutant. In addition, he had a change of heart at the end of Time Force and redeems himself in Wild Force. Furthermore, like Astronema, he is skilled in hand to hand combat and weapon combat and has some magical abilities like telekinesis and astral projection.) 4. Frax (Time Force) (This villain I feel more sorry than Ransik because Ransik helped create him from a regular human into an evil and deranged robot. Plus, he was killed at the end of Time Force even though he did have a change of heart near the end of Time Force. Furthermore, he nearly killed Ransik when he destroyed Ransik's serum just like Ransik nearly killed the guy who late becomes Frax. In summary, Frax had a very good motive to betray Ransik. Finally, like Ransik, he (with the help of his robot army) is a challenging threat to the Power Rangers.) 5. Rita Repulsa (Original Power Rangers) (She is the first Power Rangers main villain. Plus, she reminds me of the Wicked witch in the Wizard of Oz. After all, her voice is not far off from the Wicked witch in the Wizard of Oz. Plus, she marries Lord Zedd in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Season 3. If Lord Zedd is the emperor of evil, she would be the empress of evil.) 6. Ivan Ooze (Power Rangers movie) (The reason why I ranked him in this position is because he had one movie. If he was the main antagonist of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in Season 3, I would have ranked him higher than every villain on the list. Plus, he is more powerful and perhaps more sinister than Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa. However, I prefer Lord Zedd's appearance over Ivan Ooze's appearance.) 7. Psycho Rangers (In Space) (This is the evil version of the Power Rangers.) 8. Queen Bansheera (Lightspeed Rescue) (If the Power Rangers thought Diabolico was tough and sinister, then they should get a load of Queen Bansheera. She is a level above Diabolico in terms of toughness and being sinister.) 9. Master Org (Wild Force) (He is another villain that you should feel sorry for. And he killed the leading ranger's parents.) 10. Mesagog (Dino Thunder) (This is a villlain you should feel sorry for just like Frax and Ransik and Astronema and Master Org. After all, he was a human that was involved in an accident that made him into a evil Dinosaur-like freak. However, he changes from human to dinosaur or dinosaur to human from time to time. He is essentially the Jekyll/Hyde villain in the Power Rangers universe.) All hail Lord Zedd. I believe he could have totally overthrown Astronema in Countdown to Destruction (perhaps by using Serpentera) but he didn't have time because she killed herself by accident and he got turned human by the energy wave.

He wasn't the main villain in the show, but my favourite was Ecliptor from PR in Space. Darkonda and Deviot were cool too.

Astroenma was the best.(And she make a great Change to pink Ranger in next Season). Tommy as bad green was also good. And the Psycho Rangers also. Mesodog was also realy good bad. And yes Zeed was really bad and realyevil guy. But my Favorite isAstroenma because she was ever evil and has and emotional story and the lies from ecliptor make they evil. And she was a really good enemy...
