How could anybody not like THE MARQUESS OF QUEENSBURY? The Mike Tyson cartoon is hilarious. I can’t believe the Jackson Five cartoon didn’t make the list. Wasn’t there a Dukes of Hazzard cartoon? How Bobby’s World lasted past a season is ridiculous! I also don’t believe Gary Coleman was born in 1958!

Here are the cartoons that you forgot: Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids (HOW COULD YOU FORGET THIS ONE?! It's only the most popular cartoon starring a celebrity.) The Beatles (Yes, they had their own cartoon in the 60s.) The Jackson 5ive (the first black American animated series, predating Fat Albert by a year) Lil Bush (Comedy Central cartoon based on George W Bush and friends; absolutely hilarious) Kid n Play (Only lasted 13 episodes... and I'm surprised that it lasted THAT long) The Ricky Gervais Show (HBO animated series which was actually just replays of Gervais' podcasts set to cartoons)

I remember being a little girl and watching "The Jackson 5" and "The Osmonds" every Saturday morning. Both the Osmonds and the Jacksons did their own voice work. There was also the "Harlem Globetrotters", which was a lot of fun to watch as well (but weren't voiced by the team).

Ha ha, Hulk Hogan's Rock n' Wrestling! I loved that as a kid! I still have a few of the episodes on VHS. I got to meet Chris Jericho once when he was doing his biography tour (a book I highly recommend because it's hilarious), and he asked how I became a wrestling fan. I told him I used to watch it every Saturday, and I also used to watch this show. He of course was also a fan as a kid, and turns out we both had the stickers for it all over our Pee-Chees (a brand of folder we all used for our homework). It was a moment of mutual wrestling nerdery.

Toy Bonnie jackie chans father is a voodoo shop owner. His arch nemesis is a talking fucking dragon sealed inside a talisman. Jackie Chans friends are an international spy and a luchadore. yeah not ridiculous at all.

One of the jokes on mike Tyson mysteries was one of the deepest things I have heard in a while. Sooo mike is on the moon and as he looks at the earth he says "looks so peaceful from here, I wonder what planet it is". Couldn't laugh, had to just sit there silently and think.

Did anybody mention the Harlem Globetrotters? The original version was ok, but the later Super Globetrotters, in which they developed super hero identities, was certainly ridiculous. Also, I think the original version pre-dated the Muhammed Ali one regarding cartoons showing blacks in a positive light.

Yes, it certainly does not belong on a list of ridiculous cartoons.(even if it was outside the list as an honorable mention) John Candy as a kids camp counselor makes sense. He was a very popular comedian who was generally regarded as a family friendly comedian.

They forgot the Kid N' Play animated series ! And it's not only American celebrities who had cartoon series based on them ! It's also the case for Brazilian soccer star Ronaldinho who had a cartoon series named "Ronaldinho Gaucho's Team" which is airing on a kid channel in Italy or Tony Parker who had a French cartoon series named "Bask'Up" !

Can't really fault The Osmonds cartoon for using a laugh track in the early 70s -- The Flintstones, Jetsons, and Scooby-Doo all used laugh tracks are those are classics

The Jackson 5 cartoon was one of the lamest i've ever seen. But the music was so good. There was no plot, cliched characters ond the jokes weren't funny. But then a song would come on and it was basically an animated music video.

Excellent Mr. T impression, Rebecca. I liked the first few seasons of Jackie Chan Adventures. It was a lot of fun and didn't take itself too seriously. Isn't Mike Tyson Mysteries supposed to be a parody of those celebrity cartoons?

Wow, I didn't know Bobby's World had been on the air that long. They've been on almost as long as the Rugrats! ...between cartoon Hulk, cartoon Chuck Norris, cartoon Mr. T, cartoon Muhammad Ali and cartoon Mike Tyson, I wonder who would win?

The thing with the Mike Tyson show is that it is mocking some of the other shows on this list, especially the Ali & Mr. T shows. His adopted daughter is practically a clone of one of the characters from Mr. T. Add to that the fact that Mike has learned that self-parody keeps him working (he had one of the best scenes in "The Hangover"), and you can see that while it is ridiculous, his show is far better than any of the others on this list. The other shows took themselves too seriously based on their "star power", making them accidentally farsical and cheesy, a trope that Mike's show plays off of beautifully.

Forgot to mention Louie. It was cartoon about Louie Anderson as a kid. The Gary Coleman show started from the movie the Boy with Broken Halo starring Gary Coleman as an angel.

The Jackie Chan Adventures were the absolutely greatest and one of my childhood favourites on Saturday mornings back in the early 2000's. I'm pretty sure any British kid who watched CBBC on Saturday mornings will be with me on it.

Thank you, WatchMojo, for reminding me that Hammerman was a thing that existed and I may have watched an episode or two even though I didn't give two shits about MC Hammer as a 4-year-old when that show aired in 1991. I remember the anthropomorphic shoes and the dude having a ponytail (MC Hammer didn't have a ponytail but his animated counterpart did, wut), and those sound effects that were probably used in every cartoon in that era.
