There are tons of videos on the top #stocks to buy for 2024, but my list is a little different. I'm buying stocks of companies that dominate key AI markets, like Microsoft ( #msft stock ) which owns 49% of #openai the creator of #chatgpt and Google ( GOOG stock ) which is its biggest competitor with Bard and Gemini. But I'm also buying Nvidia ( #nvda stock ) and AMD stock because they build the chips that power them. That way, no matter who wins, I win. Here's my full list of the best stocks to buy now for 2024 without getting lucky.

Not happy with it as these are too growth-heavy with tons of overlap, but here are my "work in progress" portfolios: { VUG, SCHD, FTEC, BRK.B, SOXQ, QQQM } for roth { IVV, SCHD, FTEC, SCHG, SOXQ, QQQM } for taxable

I would replace AMD with INTC. I believe AMD will lose market share to INTC as INTC has the better chips in every category. AI is supposed to be process heavy, so wouldn't you want the better performing chip? Also, although INTC's AI chips are better chips they aren't priced into the stock. AMD and INTC have roughly the same market capitalization, so I'd rather own the one where the AI chips aren't priced in and the company that produces the better chips.

I agree that many people are considering NVDA as the "Stock of the year." However, I'm curious about which stocks could potentially become the next META in terms of growth over the next decade. I've allocated $200k for investment, looking for companies to make additions to boost performance

I agree that there are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy or market condition, but such executions are usually carried out by investment experts or advisors with experience

A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.

I’ve been sitting on over $545K equity from a home sale and I’m not sure where to go from here, is it a good time to buy into stocks or do I wait for another opportunity?

Look for stocks that have paid steady, increasing dividends for years (or decades), and have not cut their dividends even during recessions. Alternatively speaking to a certified market strategist can help with pointers on equities to acquire.

@@EvelynManley True. Having the right financial planner is invaluable. My portfolio is well-matched for every season of the market and recently hit a 90% rise from early last year. My CFP and I are working on a 7 figure ballpark goal, though this could take till Q3 2024.

My 2024 portfolio is similar, except I have the CIBR cybersecurity etf, which has PANW as their top weight & others you mentioned as their top 10. Also, I have the FTEC Technology index, which has top two weights in MSFT & AAPL. Also have money in Semiconductor etf, SMH. I also own AMZN, GOOG, TSLA, SQ, PLTR, ROKU, QQQ, ARKK & BRKB for 2024. Say you bought TQQQ on Jan 1st 2022 and sold on Dec 31st 2022 it be down more than 50%. We all know it ripped in 2023, just can't predict the market, long term investing is the only safety net.

Alex, awesome content as always. I'm your fan. Your list is definitely composed of top business that everybody should own. I am only concerned about their current valuation, except for Fortinet and Alphabet. Last year it was really easy for me to make a killer top 10 stocks for 2023. Now things are more complicated and finding alpha will require, IMO, to take extra risks. What are your thoughts on current valuations of the companies in the list?

When picking stocks my only advice is you buy a good cross-section of an economy and you should do well over the long term. The market will be high in 10 to 20 years, and significantly higher in 30. It's almost impossible for a company with no debt to go bankrupt. Canada is about 3% of the global marketplace, the U.S. is about 50%, and the remainder of the globe is 47%. Pay yourself first. It's time in the market, not timing the market. I stay on top of the market with my FA Anna Rounds Fay. Bulls and bears make money, but pigs get slaughtered. - some wise words

This was definitely worth the read, as Investors may avoid making decisions out of fear of regret. This can lead to inertia, where individuals hold onto cash rather than invest, fearing they will make a wrong decision.

I enjoy your analysis and content. I am posing a "not so hypothetical" scenario and would appreciate any feedback you might have. If China invades Taiwan, what impact do you see to Nvidia and others dependant on the chip industry there. I know there are efforts to diversify into other countries by the chip makers but what percentage is still reliant on Taiwan and can you see any defensive plays in case this does happen? Thanks.

Great channel. I really appreciate your analyses and that you have literal hands on experience with some of these companies. I do hold several of these companies, none currently in specific cyber security, nor the QQQ ETF. Thoughts on ASML? Started a position first of 2023. I’ve had fairly good results with infrastructure stocks, some of which I started in 2017/18. ETN, URI, BWXT, NUE, VMC and PWR. These keep me fairly covered in the $1.2 trillion spending bill passed in late 2021.

I like the logic behind buying these stocks. What I missed is what would be a recommended entry prices from your perspective? Some of these stocks are hitting all time highs at the moment. That does not mean that they will not grow further in 2024 but eg. NVDA is bought by literally everyone and their neighbors which might have a correction in some months.

I love that each stock on the list is tied to AI, and you've strategically chosen ones that work together. The emphasis on the growing markets thanks to AI is a smart move. The strategic choice of AI-related stocks is a calculated move to align with a transformative trend and the guaranteed potential of the AI market's exponential growth, this isn't about spreading investments thin It's about targeted and informed choices within focus, creating a portfolio that's not just diverse in numbers but rich in its alignment with future opportunities u dig? weknow its not going anywhere soon its an easy win.

@@TinaStewart-lr8qr Great take, i think predictions of ai market growth by 15 times in the next 10 years is crazy. And the coolest part is its simple because we all know that microsoft, google and amazon are the big dogs in cloud stuff, and are likely to be a huge part of that growth. having them in the portfolio is checkmate.

@@IsaacKeaton Thanks for the compliment.. I'm not a finance guru yet, just a junior analyst under emily ava milligan, my mentor and a pro who's shaped my understanding of stocks. Her take on AI market growth is optimistic, with giants like Microsoft, Google, and Amazon well positioned. Predicting speed is tricky, but positive signs are clear and similar to our successful predictions on Nvidia, Meta, and Royal Caribbean last year which made a lot of clients wealthy. Confident the forecasted AI boom will keep its momentum.
