I'm polish but I bought the UK relase because I love those original retro covers from first and second arc, they always give me this strange nostalgia and chill. I really support Nowa Baśń thought, we waited so long for warriors to be relased in poland that even now when we arleady have 3 arcs it feels like dream come true x'D

Did you know the Crookedstar cover was intentional? The cover art of Crookedstar's Promise originally had a accurate depiction of Crookedstar's crooked jaw, but Harper Collins felt it was not appealing to readers and changed the image so it did not show his crooked jaw. Also, with the new prophecy covers, they all share an expression except the Squirrelpaw ones. They all look so surprised, like "Why am I on a book cover?"

When I was still a slow reader, and starting out in Into the Wild, i had seen the old Long Shadow’s cover in 3rd grade. I had heard about Sol, and knew he was “a tortoise-shell with white splotches” or what ever, (I am away from my The Prophecy Begins-Omen of the Stars books) and thought it was about Sol. When I read the book with the new cover, it never crossed my mind that it used to have Sol, because I knew that Ashfur was one of the antagonists in that book. But, giving the Erins the benefit of the doubt, maybe they wanted a twist. Unless you’re like me and just know a lot of spoilers, it could of tricked some people.

The polish art is so jaw dropping, it just makes me so jealous. Whats happening with the english team- How can you suck the soul out of a cover, its how you can draw new readers attention to the book. I remember picking up Warriors only from seeing the cover of Fire and Ice, old verison.

Ok, but- Long shadows DOES have hints of the fire scene in it. If you look closely at Ashfur’s left side, you can see a faint red glow... I’m probably overreacting, but it is a nice touch.
