Can we talk about how the writers always give the villains, the worst characters, and most boring characters the best names? Like, the unique and cool names are given to evil characters like Hawkfrost and Mapleshade, or random background characters like Cloudberry, Pebbleshine, and Echomist. I could go on and on about boring characters with awesome names for AGES. Also, for part 3 if you make one here are some more unique names besides the ones I just said that you could include (If you didn't already use them in Pt1- I have bad memory): Brambleberry, Crookedjaw, Ambermoon, Adderfang, Ivypool, Silverhawk, Lionblaze, Hollytuft, Monkeystar

For some reason, I'd add Squirrelflight in one of these lists. It kinda is unique, SquirrelFLIGHT. But wasn't Squilf named her tail? So, why not Squirreltail? 🤔

Amazing video, I think Wolfheart was my favorite from the video, I didn't know most of them, but Wolf's are very caring, and heart's are usually a caring thing, so I could probably trust Wolfheart with my life.

When writing fanfics, I try to give all my characters unique names with the more interesting names going to the characters with more purpose than the rest (the POV MCs and the non-POV MC’s they interact with most and have strong bonds to, as well as villians). But the most unique name I ever came up with was Shellfeather. He’s a white tom with short fur and eyes the color of robin eggs (which is why he was named Shellkit). He’s named to honor his bond with his father, Robinsong- a dark brown tom with white belly and eyes the color of robin eggs. As a kit, Shellkit looked up to Robinsong and wanted to be as great a leader has him. Robinsong is brave and noble and tries to always do what is right, but can admit when he makes mistakes. As an apprentice, Shellpaw tried very hard to emulate these qualities in himself. He always turned to his father when things were rough (and as a POV MC, he went through A LOT) and he felt sacred or confused. Robinsong was always there for him, guiding his so. To be the warrior he (Shellpaw) wanted to be and reassuring him that he will always be proud of him. The Clan leader, who was Robinsong’s mentor, saw this bond. He had gone on an adventure through Twolegplace, where he learned the saying “birds of a feather, flock together.” He felt that it applied very well with Robinsong and Shellpaw. So, when Shellpaw was ready for his warrior ceremony, he was named Shellfeather to honor the bond he shared with his father, which the Clan leader explained during his ceremony. Because of that, Shellfeather loves his name as it highlights an important part of him. Shellfeather and his mate, Hollybush (who was given her warrior name after her father, Bushpelt, who died protecting her), eventually have kids of their own and he is just a good a father to them as Robinsong was to him.

Again what have we learned, never trust Shadowclan with naming kits because they're always something else
