In this video, I share 3 High Growth Australian Domestic ETF's for Passive Investors, and go through each ETF individually to look at their holdings, dividends, fees and various objectives/strategies. Each of the ETF's I mention in this video are passively managed and aim to track an Index over time, and I purposely avoided Sector ETFs and Actively Managed Funds. As always, this video is NOT a buy/sell/hold recommendation for any of the ETF's mentioned in this video, I'm just sharing key information and objectively analysing the different strategies for each ETF.

Getting into the passive investing mate! My opinions on the ETF's mentioned below: Blackrock ASX 20 ETF - Great ETF, has more volatility than a traditional ETF but likely yields very well. Probably a better choice than the high yield funds as most of the high yield funds focus only on yield and therefore end up buying into dying businesses. VAS 300 - Great fund. One of my favourites. Decent return, relatively low volatility. Some franking credits, high diversification. Good for most investors. Vanguard Equally weighted fund - Not a huge fan of this. Its interesting that it has outperformed the weighted benchmark however without a doubt it performs worse in downturns. The downside of investing in smaller companies and allowing how they track to equally effect big hitters like BHP, Rio and Wesfarmers. Great video mate.

Thanks so much Chris! I agree with all of your points. I thought the equal weight was interesting and thought it might be fun to put something new instead of talking about same funds over and over lol! Do you think it would outperform a traditional over a 50year period going forward if we had the same type of market cycles? (ups and downs but generally more good times than bad). I definitely agree and that's why I made sure to put in that point that it seems to do better in good times, and worse in bad times. If we have a long bear market, it could be a bad time

@@investingiq I think capitalism relies strongly on ever expanding growth, otherwise it becomes very easy to just keep doing what you're doing for eternity with no changes or innovation. I think over a long period it will likely outperform however will most definitely have significantly worse downturns due to heavier weightings in smaller companies than the standard etfs that weight the bigger companies higher.
