I dig your channel. I have a 3D projector so I'm always looking to get EVERYTHING in 3D. I don't have Ant-man and the Wasp yet, but I saw it in the theater. I never see film in 3D in the theater. I save that experience for my home theater. Infinity War is definitely bad ass in 3D!

Lets hope some of the 2019 4k hdr smart tvs come out with a 3d option fingers crossed. I have a 1080p lg 730v smart 3d led tv. Its still a great 3d tv but i would love to have the option of both 4k and 3d. Love you youtube reviews keep up the great interesting information. Scotty UK

I imported all of these. Good list! Blade runner 2049 was good in 3d too, but 4k better on that one.

People are out of their mind giving up 3d ! Most of the reviews are giving it to 3d over 4k. Come on, the depth, the immersive experience is unbelievable, even better than at the theater. Everyone, wake up !

3d movies are great i get the blu ray 3d version whenever i can as i have a 3d projector and the big screen is a superb experience that tv could not provide

All of these films made it into my 3D collection this year and the quality of the 3D seems to be getting better and better in the conversions. This makes it a harder pill to swallow that we are seeing a nearly fully phased out format. Maybe one day we will see a 3D revival in some kind of premium 4K 60Hz. Now that would be worth waiting for!

3d projector, 110 inch screen. giant pile of 3d content im slowly going through. all the marvel movies were awesome, and the IMAX ratios are an amaizing special treat. too bad disney was stupid and released the entirely-imax-shot infinity war with zero imax ratios on the blu ray. (i'll just watch the russian open matte version that leaked hah!). its older, but the best 3d i saw this year was Dredd.

Well looks like I failed here in not buying the Black Panther and Thor Ragnarok 3D instead of the 4K blu-ray. I'm still miffed at the Black Panther 4K disc with DV enabled. Looks horrible. Might have to import the 3D anyway, maybe Thor Ragnarok too.

I was Starting to THINK it was My Blu Ray player, that was Crap (Audio wise) Cause I Have the Samsung M9500 , And the Sound for BLACK PANTHER , Is Not what I expected !!!! But I wish You Could Do a Video on the Bitstream SOUND Modes for Blu Ray PLAYERS Please!!!! And what Speaker Set would U Prefer, SVS or Klipsch, Far as Home home theater system????? THANKS!

Sadly after next week my 3D C6 OLED is going bye bye. I still have a Samsung LED 3D TV but it's almost unwatchable with all of that crosstalk. My new LG C8 should be here next week, the C6 was sold for $2K while purchasing the C8 for $2.15K. I only purchased three 3D movies this year so I'm ok with letting it go.

Shane, You ABSOLUTELY knocked this list out of the park! THOR IS THE 3D BOMB! I did like Coco in 3D, but if I may suggest seeing a movie called Monster Family (aka Happy Family) that came out this year on Bluray in 3D. It's a German import, which you can buy from Amazon Germany. I think you'll find its 3D is leaps and bounds more impressive than Coco's outing (although, again, I loved Coco in 3D). I currently have Aquaman, Venom, Mortal Engines, Spider-man: Into the Spiderverse, and The Grinch 3D movies all pre-ordered from various Amazon sites around the globe. The 3D version of Hotel Transylvania 3 was unfortunately canceled for bluray (the first two were AMAZING in 3D). I pre-ordered that one from Amazon Italy and was heartbroken at the news. Still, I'm glad overseas haven't completely given up on the 3D platform. Speaking of seeking out new 3D titles, I wanted to give you some tips I found helpful through my 3D journey. - My first tip is to purchase 3D movies directly from worldwide Amazon sites. Not only do you get the price match guarantee (if you pre-order), but most foreign Amazon sites will let you use your existing Amazon.com account, meaning you can login with your existing US password and all your payment info is available without having to create a new account. Another boon is, the prices are WAY cheaper (even with the conversion rates) than buying from 3rd party sellers selling the same imported 3D movies on the US Amazon site. In most, if not almost all cases, they're even cheaper than Ebay. You're essentially cutting out the middle man. Just as examples, each one of the movies listed in your top 5, cost me around $20 to $30 including shipping, buying from any one of the foreign Amazon sites, plus all were Region Free! - My second tip is, purchase a Region Free bluray player. A whole new world of 3D movies have just become available, because I made the plunge and purchased a Region Free player. Some may say, "but they're expensive." It was a small price to pay to keep enjoying movies that weren't available to me otherwise. And this extends to non-3D movies. I was able to pick up Ratatouille in 3D as well as 2D Sci-Fi classics, Enemy Mine and Alien Nation.
