Viewers of the Torbjörn, who are you and why are you here? I'm an electrical engineer from Germany just out of uni. I like shop work but never done much except a bit of woodworking every now and then. But seeing a skilled craftsman right in his element is pure joy.

Greetings from Belgium! I am an electrical engineer and computer scientist. But in my free time I love fiddling about with pretty much anything, be it wood or metal. (Although, must admit, metal has my preference.) And I really love the channel for it's content and ideas. (And also secretly like the non shop shots ...)

I am a retired programmer currently working part time tutoring 4th grade math in western North Carolina, USA. Long time wood worker just starting to learn metal work. Just completed my first welding certification class and thinking about taking a beginning forging class at my local community college. I very much enjoy watching these videos, very relaxing and the skill is amazing.

Hi, I’ve watched this for maybe a year or so. I think This is a high quality KZfaq channel, good simple video compositions and interesting craftsmanship with skilled craftsman. I like that it’s “unknown” territory of craftsmanship in these days. I’m Mechanical Engineer /Design Engineer from Sweden. I’m glad that I found this on KZfaq, it’s relaxing to watch.

I just dropped my son off at SeaTac airport after his Thanksgiving visit. Now, with another bout of traffic trauma and empty nest syndrome, I feel like cold-forged cow pie. But what's this? Another Thunder Bear release? A cup of coffee, Christmas music playing in the background and a Torbjorn video. Feeling much better . . .

15:50 Drop forging. :DD Nice 🐱 proof candle holder. They won't turn that candle holder over. My only suggestion is maybe adding a nice looking tray under the holder to catch drips from the candles. It would save you from cleaning the window sill.

I used pine tar and linseed oil on a couple walking sticks a few years ago. The finish is fairly resilient. I use a heat gun if the wood cracks and reuse the pine tar that was impregnated to reseal. It's a great black.
