Not trying to slam Camburg but back when I had my 91 Ford Ranger I bought a 4+ radius arm kit where they stretch your I-Beams, I sent them my beams they ended up losing them and wouldn't replace them. I had to buy used beams and was reluctant to send them back. The radius arms, shock hoops, etc., needed to be rewelded, long story short I paid almost 6K for a kit that was junk basically. Shout out to Giant Motorsports in Garden Grove CA. They were able to fix all the screw ups. They do custom fab work and also do I Beam conversions for Toyotas too.

Can’t wait for part 2 bro! So happy tacoma is back in play!

definitely sell the STI before the motor blows. The FJ is really rad, but gauge the market and see if it will get a good ROI for you to move the funds to something else.

I honestly think you and your family are what makes the channel great, I love Land Cruisers, especially FZJ80s and I gotta say I wouldn't want my wife and kids riding a rig without disc brakes, ABS and airbags, just sell it and never look back. The Sequoia is definitely beautiful but also a first year and not the trusted 4.7 L V8, so it will hopefully not give you a lot of Maxxidents. Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't mind seeing less trolling around with "the boys" and more family related content, either at your property or taking them to cool places to show them the world ✊🏽🥰

Hi Max, just found your channel 2 days ago watching the barn tear down. I love four wheelers bern wrenching on them my entire life but as far as your channel is concern I'm more interested in barn/property building. Keep the FJ but get rid of the Subaru. You have way to many pokers in the fire right now so simlifi, build out your base, then dive into the crawlers.just my opinion since you asked, thanks.

I suggest, since you’re buying a new tundra, the best thing is to build your taco as your trail rig, that way its reliable and can be driven there and back. It’s too late, but you should’ve just went SAS. I did research back when I had a taco, to do it right with rcvs, upper, lower arms and nice coilovers, it costs same or even more than a swap!

If you drive there wheel then drive back with your rig, best thing to do is have a rig that’s newer or brand new and build it up. Used up rigs and not knowing what will fail on it, is not only a pita but also dangerous. Any catastrophic failure can cause your life. Also, just even drivetrain reliability makes a huge difference because you won’t be stranded on the side of the road in the mountains in the middle of nowhere! Long story short, my first gen double cab taco had a ball joint fail and front wheel flew off when I was driving to a trail, brakes went with it and I got lucky I was on a straight part of the road, had I been on the curve, I’d been down the mountain. Since then, I decided to buy a brand new rig as my trail rig. At least I know the parts on it won’t fail on the road, and I most likely won’t have any catastrophic fails. (Obviously this is if you choose a reliable vehicle, not a new land rover defender). I think using your third gen taco as your trail rig is the best idea, it’ll be reliable and most likely won’t have much fails on it, especially if you build it up.

Dude the land cruiser would be so cool. I love the property and the blog style videos. I’m looking to trade my Tacoma in on a trd pro tundra whenever they become available for non ass rapey prices.
