And now, I can honestly call these type of toys as "Statue-formers"... they look amazing, but you just transform them once and leave them in that mode...

Transforming it in under fifteen minutes from one mode to the other and back, gets you two things: an application form from MENSA and an associate's degree from your local community college.

Clearly the intent with this toy was to make the transformation as complex as an actual Bayformer.

The fact emgo was able to get the tabs together in vehicle mode is a goddamn miracle.

Wow I am now convinced that emgo is the most skilled "transformer" youtuber (As in someone who is able to transform super complicated things). He's the only reviewer I've seen that's been able to actually transform this figure fully into truck mode. He's also the one who was able to get the best results out of the mpm ironhide mould so def the king

If toyworld would actually consider giving you CLEARANCE to work with the damn thing, the transformation might actually be enjoyable.

There's one thing I noticed (especially with 3rd party figures), the better "looking" figures are usually more difficult or more time consuming to transform. But the ones that don't look as "nice" are usually easier and more fun to transform. It's a little interesting.

The price-difference of almost $100 didn't escape me, but it was mostly the chest proportions and the truck mode that pushed me toward Unique Toys. Toyworld has really earned their reputation for selling nice-looking but cheaply made houses of cards ever since they decided to release a 'Perfect Edition' Constructor which still sometimes breaks in the box.

I can imagine the Toyworld design team meeting- "Okay, so Unique Toys made an amazing, solid, and insanely screen accurate Knight Optimus Prime, what can we do to make a BETTER one?" "Make it look 1% better at the expense of making it an absolute nightmare?" "BINGO!" Challenger is my ONLY Third Party figure, and I adore it. It's insane how well engineered it is. Watching this review, as well as El Cid, just makes me appreciate Challenger even more. And Knight Orion is a HUNDRED DOLLARS MORE than Challenger! Great review Emgo!

I appreciate the fact that he was one who made some compromises for little the sacrifice over the integrity Since it's true enough that there would be a lot of redundant "locking" tabs

I think the creators wanted to make a really realistic version of prime and they succeeded. The wind shield and wheels moving into the body, the fenders and smoke stacks wrapping around, I mean, this is some serious engineering right here! It's not very cohesive or smooth but if I imagine how AOE/TLK Prime would transform irl, I think this did it The only better figure than this would be one that takes the realistic transformation and perfects it so that it is fun as well

I came here to watch because I know I would probably have a mental breakdown trying to transform Knight Orion or the BB Prime. Thanks Emgo for saving my sanity & I can keep mine in bot modes

Me who has seen the transformation countless of times I even know how and where all the panels would end up: it's fun seeing you struggle with this so hey, I don't even care.

i like how toy world is putting love into the accessories (including the batteries and all the electronic stuff) but not into the engineering

Believe it or not, they copied everything from the movie, part of the transformation to the chest is almost accurate, the flaw that I can see is that his thigh armor isn't accurate, but since its for the vehicle mode I'll let it pass. the coolest part of the transformation is that the back wheels with the fenders are the back of Optimus' legs simulating muscles, and that is cool.

No where near as good as Unique toy’s Prime but the paint on it looks amazing. Still looking forward more to TMT’s take on Knight Prime which looks like the best transformable figure of that design. Alien Attack’s 2.0 Prime looks promising too, Just hope they finally improved on their QC and transformations.
