I'm on week 11 of WG and WW clinic. I'm attending a work conference this week in Vegas and really trying hard to prioritize my protein. I have no desire to drink. Luckily the food has not been good so I just through it away rather than finish it. I hope to be down in weight Friday when I get home. Walking a lot too.

Work travel can make it hard! Starbucks is usually around and they have those protein boxes and sugar free vanilla/skim milk lattes 🤩

Thanks for this, Laraine. Your tracker inspired me to create my own and I’ve been tracking ever since. Since I’m T2D, I include my average blood glucose for the week. This helped me notice that MJ 2.5 wasn’t quite getting my numbers where I wanted anymore, and I used that data to make the decision to go ahead and titrate up to 5.0, even though I still had a few 2.5 pens in the fridge. Thanks for the inspiration! (Oh, and don’t worry… I’ll use those 2.5 pens. I’ll either combine them to make 5.0 or if I titrate up again, I’ll add them to a 5.0 to make 7.5 😉) #dontwasteapen

Great video very good info . I am on 10 right now and plan to say as long as I can I still have a lot of weight to lose and don't, want to run out of doses i can go up to.

Great work, Laraine! I have tracked my shot location and side effects from day one. I took a shot last week, for the first time, in my stomach. I usually take it in my thighs or arms. I didn’t like the stomach. I felt like I didn’t take a shot at all. It was a rough week. I was hungrier and had no energy. Almost like i felt before i started. Still in 2.5, 10 shots in. Took the shot in my thigh, today actually, and I feel much better. More energy for sure. Maybe my stomach is too big. I’m a very big guy unfortunately. It’s been an interesting adventure for sure. Thank you and Christopher for your non-doctor guidance and help with all the content you post. Thanks for the link to the protein shakes too! Much appreciated!

I agree. It’s very interesting. I look forward to yours and Christopher’s videos. Now my wife is considering this medication too. She isn’t as big as me but may need some help too. I thank God it’s available and pray that this medication will continue to be available and work for all of us! Thanks again!

Nice video! Thank you for that. Can you please tell me what your starting weight was and how tall are you? What is your goal weight? I started taking compounded Mounjaro in March 2024. I’m 5’6, I weighed 203, now I weigh 167. As of last week. I couldn’t take my shot for two weeks because I had surgery. During that time I didn’t gain any weight. I had two strokes in one Night, three years ago. Before that I was never overweight. After my stroke everything went Haywire. My blood work was terrible. Now every time I go to the doctor my blood work is improving! I use my treadmill at least five days a week. The weight training is Difficult for me. My right side is more than a little numb. But I’m working on it! You’re doing great on your journey! God bless ✌💙

This is Laraine: my starting weight was 193, I’m 5”4.25, 55 yrs old. My first goal was 156, then I dropped it to 150. Today I’m at 143. I’m glad your blood work is improving!

​@@thedownsized Thank you so much. Yes I just started to watch your oldest videos first. So you were already four months into taking a GLP 1 medication,when you started a weight loss channel. That’s nice. Sounds like you’re also doing well. I’m glad you hit your goal weight. And now you weigh 143. How much more weight do you want to lose? I didn’t get that far into your videos but I was wondering if you had a Dexa scan? It’s really important that you know if you’re losing muscle as well as fat. We all lose muscle when we are losing weight but you have to try to gain muscle at the same time. Thanks for answering me! Have a great day and God bless ✌💙

We started 9/29/23 and did our first video in March of 2024. My Mochi doctor told me I should try to get into the 130's, so maybe 135? I'm not in a rush to lose more. I'd like to get a Dexa scan. My home scale measures fat and muscle - I did lose muscle during the process. Now I'm focusing on using heavier weights in my exercise classes. Protein also helps keep and build muscle so I try to get 80 -100 g of protein in each day. It's a challenge! Thanks for watching!

What cruise line do you go on? Have you ever done Viking? I need to start tracking more information, as this week I’m on track to lose 4 lbs. I’m on 7.5 . I have 10 already but, I have one more week of 7.5. My shot location last time was lower stomach.

7.5 was great for me too- I think at that point your body has a good level of medicine in it and you get used to the side effects, if any
