Totally agree. In HS we had an assistant coach that would let out a moan whenever you made a really good pass. You know the sound an old man makes when he bites into a perfectly cooked steak..like "mmmmmoooooohhhh". Us players always laughed when he did it, but deep down you knew, if you got one of those you made a legit high IQ play.

Faxx, I love him but he’s frustrating to watch at points 😭

How has he not been a joy to watch...have you seen any of his past roughly 8 or so games? I get he had a rough start. Has taken some poor shot attempts, and bad turnovers. However did you not see just how incredibly awful we were without him? The game we had Rondo starting and Goodwin as primary backup was one of the worst NBA games I’ve ever seen. The offense was so poor and stagnant. Nobody could create for themselves at all. Rondo and Goodwin couldn’t hit the side of the barn. So while I understand he hasn’t been perfect, and get what you are saying. The Hawks would be so so so much worse without him.

Outside of that 4 game losing streak he's been a joy to watch

And them some night he gets no calls because the opposing team actually plays defense instead of trying to run through him. Guys want to try and play physical, he is smart enough to just stop moving and let them run into him. Don't want to get called? Don't do it. Utah defended him amazingly this season. So did Dallas.

If Trae beats the defender, gets around him and is able to stop on a dime that is NOT Trae’s problem. Don’t like foul calls? Stay in front of him and stop fouling him. The guy is a walking instruction video on how to properly make a defender foul YOU... instead of always stealing foul calls by jumping into innocent defenders in the air who are just doing their job... like everyone else in the league does regularly.

Don’t watch him than, nobody is forcing you to do so. The narrative that you and others are pushing though is so stupid. Acting like Trae/Harden are the only guys who do this. It’s not even close to true, they just are the best at doing it. Does nobody remember when KD used to do that cheap ass rip move 100 times a game? Nobody bitches about that. People just want to find reasons to knock Trae down and hate him. Which I have no clue why at all. He’s never had any off the court non sense. He truly wants to win and get better.
