That's sharp. I like this idea for my personal snowblower, add the 12 volt starter and use a battery like this instead of the tractor battery. Just turn key for power. Only thing I wonder is how those batteries will hold up in cold weather and snow.

Thank you! Battery life is shortened in the cold. Did you see the new tractors? They don’t even use traditional battery. More like an ATV battery. You maybe on the right path (look at generators) Walmart batteries are still cheaper. I will try and start the Ariens with this and get back to you! Thanks for the idea

@@pattayperformance Oh yea I know, the MTD's, they used to use those ATV batteries in the early 90's, they were gone for awhile and now they brought them back again right during this stagflation. I don't like those batteries, they cost more. Cool let me know how it works. If it works out well I'm going to add it to my Ariens too.

Any fuse should be between the load and the power source . This is to prevent fires or damage to battery . Using a higher volage battery the starter is getting 40v at 5A , instead of 12V at 10A . The higher volage will also turn the starter faster more RPM .Is the fuse in the right place ?

Sorry if I wasn’t clear… The battery is located under a cover. All I did was extended the wires from the harness where it connected the old battery to the new one. Fuseable link is in the right place bc I didn’t tamper with entry points into the system. Hopefully that makes sense
