I always got the vibe from Trask that he didn't have many friends and he was really excited to make a new friend, and that's why he was willing to walk this amnesiac noob through the basics while the Endar Spire was crumbling around them.

Uff that space battle is pure nostalgia. Very close to having a decent cinematic clip of the old republic space battles in high resolution that rivals the cinematics of KOTOR.
