A few years back on an 18 hour bus ride across South Africa I improvised a chin-supporting cozy using a scarf and a crocheted owl stuffed animal about the size of a softball. Worked really well! Now I take the lil guy on every trip

Hey, I used to have problems on flossing with a string, until I learned the most valuable life hack ever. Just get a 15cm piece of floss, tie the two points together (make a lasso) and now you'll be able to use it without having to tie them around your fingers, as the string will keep the tension by itself. And you can rotate the string as you go to have a clean string to each teeth.

I bought the Bose headphones and neck pillow due to your video last year. I can actually sleep on planes now. I recommend the app, Relaxio, for white noise generation. It allows you to do a mix of various sounds together. Thanks for the videos!

The SOLBANA powerbank from IKEA is really good, 10000mAh and high quality. Also the Usb cables they have are nice.

I actually tried that same neck pillow and had a big issue with portability. I purchased the Purefly soft velvet inflatable travel neck pillow on Amazon and it's totally worth it since it saves you extra bag space.

Kinda obvious but towel dryers do a fantastic job "ironing" your clothes x) BTW I'm amazed you haven't managed to snag off any of the suitcase wheels but I guess if you always bring it on board with you it's safe. I had a panic attack when I saw guys thowing suitcases and walking on them while loading them onto a plane O_o

One thing I thought of was a pair of really thin slip on shoes, as sometimes you may encounter a situation where your shoes get drenched and you may not have enough time to dry them out later and would rather not have damp feet for the rest of the day/next couple of days. Also a reusable waterbottle with a filter in it can be good.

Good call! Boots are sometimes a pain to put on and lace up when all you need is a pair to wear down to the hotel food area. And YES, reusable water bottles are very useful. I haven't found one I like yet, so I generally buy a Smartwater (probably the most durable disposable bottles I've come across) and refill that over the course of a trip.

@@ClothMap I recommend those 24 oz Contigo water bottles with the straw and built in clip. I really took advantage of that clip on a trip to Japan by clipping it one of the straps. It makes for quick access water without taking off the heavy bag. If you don't care for those you might as well stick with the smartwater bottles.

So heavy on personal items, I try to limit hygiene items to toothbrush, toothpaste and pick things up if really needed. Drugs I've only carried some Advil and melatonin. Synthetic clothes are interesting, most of my bag is clothes, are the synthetic cloths comfortable?

The synthetic clothes are comfortable, but the shirts in particular feel pretty different than normal cotton shirts. More like silk.

Have you tried 'smart wool' instead of synthetics? Drys fast and does not smell! Expensive though :(

I have! I have some Smartwool socks I use for backpacking. In my experience they dry in about the same time as synthetics, (which is to say not very fast; the socks are definitely the weak link here).
