Dude, ur a hero mate. To face ur anxiety face on is like going on a battle mission . It is no joke man. Anxiety does mysterious thing to you and at the same time it is your friend. It reminds you that you are alive. Make friends with it. Just like in any relationship there will be ups and downs.

Im so proud of you , like you . I suffer intense fear of being trapped. With help of my therapist ive started exposure therapy , ive managed 3 bus rides next i am going on a train. I would love to fly one day and go on a long haul flight so im pushing myself to do it

I've struggled with anxiety disorders for years and I still do , and reading on the internet often emphasizes focusing on your breathing, which can actually make your anxiety worse because you're unconsciously trying to suppress something you perceive as dangerous at that moment. At least, that's the signal you’re sending to the body and the body sends to you with all kind of alarms going off. What helps me reduce the intensity and duration of panic attacks is actually accepting them when they occur, no matter how difficult or heavy they feel. It's challenging, but it shortens their duration and weakens their grip.

As I was sat watching this it was like watching myself when I am anxious. I’m not at a place where I could even imagine myself on a plane but as I write this I am on holiday in the UK. The part where you said about learning to trust yourself again resonates so much. ❤

Mate, I am traveling to Latvia in less then two weeks. First it's going to be a trip in a mini travel van to Budapest airport, then if it all goes will board the plane. I am freaking out over the whole thing and youtube isn't helping with showing more of terrible airplane crashes instead of how to handle the trip when you are super anxious. I am grateful and appreciate you documenting your airplane journey. No one does it and it is important because as I mentioned three hour flight awaits me, so yeah it's going to be a bumpy ride.

Thank you for sharing raw footage, I appreciate your videos a lot! I’m in Athens right now on holiday and mannn..it’s so BUSY, even in November but I’m challenging myself everyday to do something new. Went to the agora today..was kinda emotional. We can do this guys, step by step 🫶🏼 it’s not about perfection, it’s about showing up for yourself because we deserve it.

Like you said, anxiety makes normal things hard to do and it’s harder to explain it to people who don’t experience it. Most of my flight anxiety is anticipatory. Once I know I have to travel my entire being feels the stress and anxiety. It’s really exhausting to keep fighting the intrusive thoughts. Xanax has been a huge help for me and I start taking it the night before I have to fly. ❤

I’m going on my first 6hr flight since 2019. I am bringing medication but omg I have no idea how I’m going to do it. But I have to. Thanks for the motivation ❤

You are amazing and so brave. I've only been on one short plane trip in my life over one province and I was probably around 13. I was nervous then but now at 37 I am pretty terrified...the enclosed space and being thousands of feet in the air plus my random anxiety/ panic that comes up for no reason some days. Being stuck in a plane then stuck in an unfamiliar place freaks me out. My question is, do you take anything like Clonazapam before you fly or do certain things to help control the physical panic feelings? Usually walking and fresh air is my go to but obviously can't do that on a plane
