I aim to travel and see as much of the Split region of Croatia as possible over the next few days, from Krka Waterfall National Park to Hvar island. But is the area worth visiting? Does Split live up to the hype?

Hahaha, that's typical weather on Croatian coast :D, we are well know for our winds. Even during mid summer you got daily winds that hit at certain hours, so choppy sea like this is nothing strange. I recall one winter when i was going from Brac to Split ferry was going from left to right due to high winds so much we would see the waves. Fun times.

What's to drink at 1:12? Omg, how did we miss this fortress?!? Honest opinions are (almost, ha) always appreciated! We never tire of that SUPER clear water! We have never heard of Nutribuddy; what do the shakes taste like? That red beer looks tasty! April would feel much better on the outside of the bumpy boat ride back, not forced to be inside! Really great ending...

That's Fentimans pink lemonade! Love some pink lemonade from time to time 😝 There are just so many fortresses in Croatia it's probably impossible to see them all! Nutribuddy shakes are great. They're not too sweet and are made with good stuff like oats and seeds. The beer was so good! Thanks for watching guys 🤗

@@tihomirrasperic The view from the fortress you mean? I absolutely loved the view from up there! I wouldn't personally say it was better than the view in Dubrovnik but it was different. They were both beautiful views in different ways and I loved them both. That's just my personal opinion anyway :)

Hello again Ella. 😂😂😂 We didn't know that goalkeeper facet. Who knows, maybe you are a descendant of "Robin Hood" and you didn't know it. 👩🏻🦰🏹 That National Park is amazing. Spectacular. You have been very lucky to be able to enjoy it without so many tourists and to be able to walk quietly listening to its sounds. Both you and your boyfriend know how to enjoy the places you visit to the fullest, especially gastronomically. They looked very good and rich dishes. That trip on the ship with those conditions, if it had happened to me, I assure you that I would have gotten off the ship as white as a sheet of paper. 🤢🤢🤮🤮🤢🤢 As always Ella, a great video. 👌 For when the next video and in what destination? Hola, Ignacio! Haha, maybe you're right - maybe it is in my blood 🏹 It was very lovely to be at the national park with so few people. There are certainly some silver linings to travelling during times of Covid. The food was indeed lovely! I think I did look like a ghost when I got off the boat! I take it you get sea sick quite easily then? This is the last video I will upload for a month or 2 as I don't have any more footage to edit yet. I have a few trip ideas in my head but I have nothing booked yet and they are in very early planning stages. Therefore I don't know what will materialise and what won't! So, I don't know where I am going next. I am very excited though and hope to be going away very soon. I have a lot planned for my channel this year, that's for sure! 😁 I always appreciate your support, Ignacio! Your comments always make me smile! 😊

@@tihomirrasperic Don't get me wrong, I really am not a sea urchin hater, I was just unnerved getting into the rough waters so close in case a wave dragged me into one. I've witnessed it happen before to someone and the outcome wasn't pretty.

Nice to hear from you again, Omar! Things are OK. I caught Covid at Christmas and have recovered. Restrictions are now easing here in the UK so I feel optimistic for the new year. How are things going in The Gambia with the pandemic?

How is driving in Croatia? Should I consider renting a car?

Driving in Croatia in my experience was fine. The roads could be quite windy on the coast but otherwise it was pretty straightforward. I would recommend renting a car as it gives you the freedom to explore and you can rent a car from one city and drop it in another, making a road-trip of it.
