Seems like large crawler tires would be better for this truck. Wouldn't have to worry much about ballooning and have much more traction for trailing and crawling. Good video. Thanks.
@RCKnockout Жыл бұрын
Yeah this one’s brushless now….so the tires balloon even more…..glad you liked the video

Have You tried the Proline Trenchers? Those have great traction in all kinds of terrain. Love the Traxxas Summit. Go alot of places RC.

My guess is you’ll need a new motor…it definitely shouldn’t be smoking…at least a new 775 motor only costs between $20-$25

I kinda want a summit to go with my E-revo 2.0. Sometimes brushed rc's are better. I have a couple of old nimh packs that would work.
@RCKnockout3 жыл бұрын
It’s totally worth it! There’s a reason why Traxxas is still making the Summit after all these years. There hasn’t been a 2.0 Summit either so I think they got it right the First time around
@gasolinediesel9723 жыл бұрын
@@RCKnockout Yeah I kinda wish they would make a 2.0 though. It would be a little bit bigger and it would be more durable. I think this truck is really cool but it's quite old and it needs a few updates to keep up with more modern stuff. One of these days a company like arrma is gonna release something similar that will outclass the summit in every way.

@@marklake7749 I don’t think you can get rid of the spring altogether…..but I think there is a way to tighten it….but it’s DIY…..I think you have to drill through the center and put a bolt on one side and a nut on the other and tighten it down to make the spring stiffer…..I don’t know of any direct replacements
