I am 22 years old, I have been fighting for a month with extremely strong and disabling bilateral tinnitus, I feel in danger I am going completely crazy, I would like to be followed by you but I live in Italy

Please be calm. I usted to be like that. Eventually your brain will learn to ignore it, trust me. Is very important that you stay calm and not try to fight it. Just let it be, accept it, don't think of it as something bad, be persistent on this positive thoughts and you will live and sleep with no problem. Stay calm, don't fight it, concentrate in your other senses. All of that will help you a lot. Let's be strong together.

Good information. I am in the process of getting hearing aids with a tinnitus feature now to treat my moderate severe hearing loss. I have had tinnitus for decades and I’m hoping that treating my hearing loss will treat my tinnitus as well.

@@email4468 honestly, I don’t have details yet. In the list of hearing aid features, tinnitus was listed on both of my final choices of hearing aids. I think it will be another 7 days before i am being fitted. I’m making an assumption that the features will be described to me when I receive them. It was an option. I know i do not like Widex Zen Tinnitus program and ruled Widex out as one of the possible choices. My next appointment is on February 17, 2023.

@@email4468i guess I didn’t complete the answer. Trying to multitask and closed windows. The brands/ models I chose were the Phonak Lumity L90 and the Oticon More 1. They are receiver in canal, (RIC) a little smaller than BTE. They both had a tinnitus feature.I ruled out Resound because i didn’t like the way it looked. It was too boxy (they do have a nice IOS app ) and Starkey because there were too many features I didn’t think i would use. I did a lot of research on this as I spent less on my first car than this and breaking down the cost over an estimated 5 year lifespan on something i was going to use at 8 hours a day, the cost was minimal. My understanding is that the Resound is a very good choice but I couldn’t get past the style. Your results may vary.

I've been fitted with lyric and have been wearing them for about 2 months. I have moderate loss in my left ear and mild in my right. I had horrendous tinnitus in my left ear for a year before I sought help through an audiologist. I have to say even though there's been a few fitting issues they've definitely helped with my tinnitus. I found there was more occlusion if they weren't inserted deep enough. Once they're inserted deep enough the sound is great. I even take them out and reinsert them myself now. My audiologists have been wonderful. I'm in Australia.

Why not other companies coming with the similar products that would be great way to decrease the price for the contract ? I love that concept because I possibly be able also to put earplugs in the environment of noisy.

At the moment, it doesn't seem like they're actively trying to reduce the price. However, I'll keep an eye out for any developments in similar products or pricing changes.

I been reviewing Lyric for a few weeks and it got my Tinnitus down to just about nothing.. my issue is I just can get use to the feeling of it in my ear. we changed sizing a number of times but then I am going to go back to my More 1 with sounds... I don't under stand why Lyric without any sound helps my tinnitus this much

I lovved the lyric when I had that.. but i ended up not being a candidate but i really want them back anyway.. lyric is the also the BEST and perfect sound quality because it is the only analog hearing aid that exists.. i am a musician and i have had ZERO luck with traditional digital crap. Its fucked up how musicians who aren’t a candidate for lyric get no good technology 😡

Actually, for tinnitus management, a traditional Receiver-in-Canal (RIC) hearing aid would typically be the best choice. These aids can provide amplification for hearing loss while also offering features specifically designed to help manage tinnitus, such as masking or sound therapy options.

Thank you however I don’t know how your patience handling crazy noises sudden firetruck appeared on the road or behind your vehicle in that particular situation I can quickly protect my years don’t know maybe putting the fingers inside or putting noise cancellation tool is it possible to do it over widex ? Also newest model of that company seems to me going inside of the year is it would be much better for my concerns my job is the Dog trainer. I constantly dealing with those situations. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 please 🙏 respond

By artificially reducing tinnitus will brain learn to stop the rings so even after not using the aide?

Yes but you do need to consider other forms of tinnitus management so you can reach tinnitus habituation. Other forms of tinnitus management include tinnitus retraining therapy, cognitive bheavioral therapy for tinnitus, etc. Check out our website treblehealth.com for a FREE consultation!
