@tonmy cas I mean most people do kind things for self gratification it doesn't mean it's a bad thing like if people stopped giving because self gratification is wrong a lot of charities and poor people would be screwed but that's besides the point. Have you seen the series "What would you do?" It shows how kind americans are or you can also just search videos here of american people giving to homeless or helping others out. Like this is just giving a little kid flowers you have to be pretty cold to not give them anything or taking the little they have.

I want to share my story too. When we lived in Italy we didn't have lots of money. There was this supermarket we always went to and the owner saw that we struggled financially so since we were long-term clients he said that we could buy whatever we needed and then pay the next month when my father would get his pay check. Always paid, sometimes in time sometimes late but always paid and he never argued, he saw a mother struggling with her two kids and gave us help. It's been a while but I will never forget your kindness, thanks Felice.

johnmonk66 it's an Asian culture to call everyone who's older/younger than you that way. In Asia, it doesn't have to be your own family to call someone like that, it's a way to show politeness and manners for someone who's older than you by putting brother/aunt/uncle/sister etc as a prefix

This is something that I admire in Asian culture, they really take care of their elderly and the young. This example should be followed by everyone nomater the race or ethnic background. thank you, your comment made me smile and think of my grandparents :) family is a broad term; anyone in need can be a brother or sister if we simply extend our hand to them tbh and there is a kinship between everyone even if they are strangers when we choose to support them. this value of servitude and hospitality is so important in our cultures, and some of the best families are also created sporadically as we make new connections 💞
