When I see this video I suddenly remember that 3 years ago I also cried when I got rejected at college entrance test to my dream university. Now, although I was not studying at my dream university, my reality is much better than my expectation during high school. I can only imagine if my Mom didn't encourage me and try to apply at local university. She said: "Gold will always be gold wherever it is." Yes, I am grateful to become one of my country most outstanding student and just few months ago my dream university offered me scholarship for my Masters degree. So if any of you did not get to your dream university, cry for awhile and move forward. Put your head up and face the reality. You are a person with great quality. Your education and degree are just accecories; your true quality is the most important thing. Good luck!

I am a student of the Federal Institute system here in Brazil. I entered in 2015. Throughout elementary school I was a model student with good grades, but during high school, due to stress and the new environment, there was a drastic drop. From the 1st year I was left with subjects for the 2nd and in the second I ended up failing. It was very sad not to be able to graduate with my original class and go to classes with many people younger than me. The people in the new class were extremely kind to me and didn't mind helping me with what I had a hard time with and finally I was able to go to 3rd grade. I was extremely happy and managed to graduate with this class in 2019, despite having to enter the dependency system again. As a 20 year old having to study with 17/18 year olds, it generated a lot of stress and a little bit of an inferiority complex and I almost dropped out of school. Finally, now in 2020 I was able to complete my technical high school and I have to thank all the teachers, classmates and school staff who supported me, because it was not easy to see, year after year, my colleagues going and me staying there no matter how many hours of sleep did I lose to make an extra effort in my studies. Even though it was an act, it touched me deeply and I remembered all those moments. Sorry for my bad english.

Just like the lines from my fav songs: "If you feel like you're going to crash then accelerate" "We're too young to give up" "Don't you compare yourself with other people, that's a waste of a person you are so why not be honest to your emotion, Don't you be falling down" "Eventhough I fall and I am hurting, my dream's ahead so I'll keep running" "No matter how thorny the road is, Run"

2:11 the girl in the pink says “it’s normal to feel uncomfortable it’s part of life.” That’s respect. I have failed a class and I had to drop it. I felt like my life was over. Now I like to hear these reminders, uncomfortable situations supposed to happen. Good luck to every one of You!

They speak so well. That's how my grandma speak to me everytime I cry, having difficulties and failures in life. It's a great feeling when someone use kind and encouraging words. That's what we need the most.

Ok but the fact that this video is recommended to me right when I got a 38% (fail) in one of my uni modules.. It feels like I ran for miles but it didn't pay off, but this video is comforting, thank you

"Experiences are much more important than your degree. If you want a good job, experiences are playing a key role. A degree is only prove the ability you learn in the past. But not the ability to fit in the society." I need this 😭❤

I understand this so much. I've been through the same thing. I didn't pass my interview and I blame myself for being bad. I tried again for the second time and still, I failed. I cried sooo much and thank god my parents didn't mad at me. They understand. Fortunately there are always another way to get in university. It's okay for those who failed. It's not over yet. Fighting

I'm so glad i saw this. I actually just saw my grades this morning and i can't believe that the subject i think i got the hang of was the lowest grade I've got. It totally made me feel so worthless like I actually thought i was good at it but then it turned out like this. I worked so hard to understand all of it but wasn't it enough? I was really so frustrated. But then i watched this and i cried as i picture these people saying this to me. I feel so touched and i hope all of us won't give up in this kind of challenge. ❤️ Many opportunities will come to you as long as you don't give up. Edit: Sorry just had to vent it out 😅
