I feel so blessed to be alive at the same time as this band. I just saw my 59th show, they tie it all together for me… my past, teen hood, lost friends, great memories, traveling the world, growing up, it’s just so incredible to be a part of it. I am a guitarist because of Trey.

Treys the best. Im so thankful I've lived at the same time and had the privilege of seeing phish and trey acoustic. He's amazing...and the fingers...mesmerizing

That is the goal for all aspiring musicians whether they know it or not.

I have spoken to many musicians that have seen this video and can't believe what they are hearing. I believe this is so important for one huge factor... connecting to the audience. That's what makes Trey a Jedi. He feeds off their vibrations, force if you will, to know where they want him to take them. Now, sometimes there isn't much to work with. Some of you have probably been to a show or two that was, well, lacking I guess... but imo, those shows are equally important. When you do this gig as much as Trey and Co have been doing it, you realize that every show isn't going to be Nassau '03! You have to have "filler" nights between those handful of tourbusters. It makes those more special. And ultimately, that's what we are all buying tickets for.. the chance to see something TRULY special. To many of us it is a sacred event, a pilgrimage if you will. And every time we go, we have that feeling deep in the pit of our chest, a slight anxiety of "Is tonight THE night?" Shoutout to Mercury. MTFBWY

one time I saw Trey in Cincinnati. after show waited for ever to meet. big group of people finally everyone faded away and then the security left also. one mother and a young kid maybe 12. I opened the door and asked if they want to come with me. ended up in lounge area and there is Trey. we apologized for entering but Trey got us a drink and sat with us. he was so focused on the young kid it was awesome. he asked if he played an instrument and told him to never give up on his dream. It was the most impressive thing. totally sober! I've met a lot of people who were disappointing. this is a genuine good man. he just laughed when I asked him to sign a paper because I had no ticket and only make show I can sneak in. reminded me of Jerry saying just open the gates we don't need your money. be the good

There is nothing like having a Phish Song in yourlife and then hearing their show and ya call it...and they play it ❤

And you definitely do know what to play sir, one of the beautiful beautiful things about Phish is that it has this psychic psychedelia to it, really expanding and expounding upon what was created in the late 60's acid test and then grateful dead scenes. where it genuinely feels like this immersive collective experience! Words don't quit do it justice, imagine walking through a foggy dream, in a barren scorched land, where all that remains is the echo of a dream of a far away time, Phish is the resonance and source of that echo. That and the best 4 musicians to ever walk the face 😉 we are so so lucky. ☮️♥️♥️♥️🕉️. 💀⚡🌹

Back in the 90s they talked about how much work and prep went into the set lists. There are way too many songs in the catalog and too little downtime during a set with orchestrated songs for "no setlist" to actually be real. I'd buy this if he was talking about a jazz set. I think he is just messing with us, but I do believe he has a "let go ritual"
