I was just typing a question about my bacopa caroliniana not bushing out when you basically answered it while I was typing! 😁 I'm not cutting it low enough. 👍 I love the patchwork of colours and textures in your tank. 😊

Looks great dude. Keep up the good work. For stem plants, do you ever cut them down to the substrate and then replant the tops? I see they do that in the European aquascaping videos after 7 trims or something.

Since you been to Puerto Rico, have you visited that reserve/park where they are known to have freshwater shrimp living in the stream?

50! I won! I have overgrown my plants many a time. I had about 4 LPS in NYC that would buy my plants. Water Sprite would sell like hot cakes in Manhattan. I will be setting up soon, but not to sell. How was El Yunque Rainforest? Did rain like every 15 minutes? Years ago Camry rainforest system was connected to El Yunque rainforest system. Over the years population growth separated the one system. I will be a hobbyist more than anything soon. Thank you for sharing, I enjoyed watching!

how many individual stem plants can you plant next to each other in substrate? what's a good measurement of spacing to avoid the bottom leaves not getting light?

I just watched the original video of you showing off the plants in the 75 gallon I love that tank but I would add more hard scape Maybe some dragon stone💯 PS It’s far from the first time I’ve seen that video💯🌱🐠💙🔥

How do make your ar mini look so good? I got mine 4 months ago from a tissue culture and it hasnt grown into its submerged form yet. It also has heavily melted and isnt very red, more greenish pink. I have good substrate, medium to high light, and co2. Ive also tries root tabs.

My 240 is set up like a combo of pond and aquarium. Plants are in 6" pots other than the epiphytes. But they still grow large and dense. Today I had to trim back with scissors the Val that was near 30"..and use the old toothbrush trick for hair algae removal. But what I see from above with the pumps off is a mini ecosystem at the surface. Springtails hopping,pond,ramshorn and Mystery snails..the Pond snails by the hundred..yet I never see them up there from the side. It get window sun and that makes the Val a solid green pillar in two pots. Not a speck of light filters through..almost as dense is the Bacopa caroliniana. Rotala macrandra narrow leaf and orange is slower growing..but it was taken out of a 4" pot and now is in the larger size. I like pots..change my mind..rearrange..get tired of the plant (Water Wisteria) and remove. btw- Water Wisteria will grow outdoors in California. Its in a 60g I have under my patio.. thanks!

What's the best way to handle your trimmings? Do you throw them away or do you have a place to store them or plant them to continue growing?
@cassalamon5 жыл бұрын

Looks like a hot mess lol. I would rip out all the stem plants and turn it into a nice low maintenance aquascape. Green aqua style.
