Nice to get reviews with pillion as these are quite uncommon, I appreciate comments you both made as it's useful to know bikes that passengers are comfortable on. My wife was falling asleep on one of our trips, I was wondering why she kept being her helmet against mine. That's a sure sign that your pillion is nodding off.

A few years ago my dad had a Harley and his partner at the time would frequently fall asleep on the back on long trips, that was a very comfortable bike

Glad to see Renno on the bike again even though it’s not her bike. And yes my Friend Has a V-Star and his wife would fall asleep Quite often on the back. Love the way that bike looks might have to give it a looks when I finish paying of the note on my CBR600.

My mum used to fall asleep on the back of my dad's motorcycle (an FN 250cc, early 50's) all the time. Not a problem, even when my dad didn't notice and wake her up. We humans apparently still have a reflex to latch on if we start to fall in our sleep.

Looking to buy one of these tomorrow! I used to have the Gen 1 explorer and have missed it since I sold it. I was riding through the mountains in Romania, pulled up to a junction and I felt my missus full weight slap me on the back. I then heard her laughing, and she said, "sorry I fell asleep!" 😆 🤦🏻‍♂️

A great video, thanks! I had a pillion sleep on the back of my Suzuki DL-650 V-Strom for a 6 hour ride across France. She was wedged in as I had side boxes and top box on the bike. No hiccups!! I'm like you, 6ft 5" and currently looking for a new bike. I've had the V-Strom 650 + 1000 and now looking at the Tiger. Not 100% sure where I'll go yet. It'd be interesting to hear your thoughts on V-Strom vs Tiger. Stay Safe.

I have ridden all the recent V-strom's and the Tiger 1200 and 900 and man that is a toss up. I think the v-strom 650 is power wise put in a different class, its kinda small and not hugely powerful. Picking between the tiger 1200, 900 and the v-strom 1050 would be really hard.

My wife used to fall asleep on the Honda NC750x all the time. I have a Tiger 800 now, and there is now too much space between us for her to feel comfy and tucked in between me and top-case to sleep.

The tiger over here use to be the cheaper option over the bmw. But it’s starting to get up there in price. I still found it to be a good ride. But still to much, it the trusty broken drz for me lol.

61 and car Insurance this year was £577.83 and Motorbike costs £185 for a 750cc or £285 for a brand new 125cc, all fully Comprehensive and for some odd reason 3rd party only actually costs almost the same.🙄😳. These figures are for Liverpool UK were we get penalised by the Insurance companies for living in a predominantly working class area. When I lived in the more affluent area,s like the SE I paid a lot less. Hope this helps.😊👍
