Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Great video for a noob like me. I have to repair my Troy Bilt TB516EC 25A-516-766. I recently learned that one of my fuel lines is broken. Geez Louise I thought I could just tape the fuel line, but it just cracked like brittle candy. I know if I am going to work on it I have to empty the oil and gas. I started removing a few parts - air filter and stopped because all the parts are original and I think it has never been mechanically loved other than a oil change since my dear old Dad purchased it in 2011/2012. I am beginning to think I may have strip it down and rebuild it with replacement parts. I already found your video helpful to me as a guide. I guess I need to purchase a carburetor kit and/or Fuel Tank Assembly to get the primer button? I checked your links and they do not have any in stock. I checked the Troy-Bilt website and they have some parts available. I am still making heads or tails of the parts I need to repair my edger.

Last week I checked the link again and the seller, Masnln, had inventory, so we ordered the kit and it arrived on Friday, September 01, 2023. I finally opened the package and every part that was listed as part of the kit was shipped in the package. Now I have to wait for the rain showers to stop and weatherman says rain for the next 4 days.

I have a craftsman edger that looks just like this with new carb, but bulb won't prime? I am guessing I can buy this same part and replace and hopefully that one primes?

I did the same to mine thinking it was a bad carb after the new carb/ air filter/ fuel filter/ spark plug/ new fuel lines it still pops and idles fine but dies down when at full throdle. There’s only one idle adjustment on that carb right? Idk what’s going on with it? Any idea?

check plug. also it needs brand new bought today gas. it wont run on 3 week old gas.

Did you ever get it running? If so what was it? Having the same issue with mine. I did a valve lash adjustment to little improvement.
