Noob Trucker in the UK, bringing other new drivers the heads up on what its really like as a new driver. Milti drop and otherwise.I have been driving commercially for one year now and my vlogs are here to show you what driving a HGV the the UK is really like, I don't delete the bad bits its all raw and as it happens.

Hi Jay. Windy and wet being good British weather but could do without the snow. That was a fair old downfall of snow there Jay. Your videos are always so very good and interesting. I set me sat nave at 85Kph, but I do 90Kph. It's speed limited to 95. So yep I do the same. Most roads in Australia the max is 100 but by having it speed limited at 95 allows for going down hill.

If im right in thinking thats the A66 it can be clear at both ends until you start the climb then its a total white out ive been stuck on there loads of times seen so many bad accidents on it too, horrendous road

He mentioned you posted a link to a forum ? and some crap going on. I could not find that video nor have no idea what forum post you meant. Whilst was was searching, I came across your first ever KZfaq video and watched a few more after that one. You are now a confident driver and it just goes to show it’s all a matter of time and experience to make us what we are. I love your videos and watch all your new latest ones. Can I ask a few questions and either answer here on on a video. What shifts do you do as you often mention you’re working on a Sunday ? Is Warrington your base, if so do you live local to Warrington. Hi Jay, when my car goes for a service, the garage fit a seat shroud to protect the seats, So why don't your service company use steering wheel shrouds when they service your trucks.🤔

When you get traction issues like you did there, are you able to manually override the tag axle and lift it to basically overload the drive wheel and try to use the extra down pressure to get going ? I believe it's a normal trick for Scandinavian truckers. but not sure if they have to over-ride something with removing a fuse or similar..

I Use the tag axel lift button on my scania all the time when it's raining and I'm trying to get going on a hill, you even get a read out on the dash to show how the weight has been distributed over the two rear axels. Works great and no broken half shafts.

All good if you can override you mid lift on mine you can't under weight I used to have a tag double drive which was class on any ground
