This fmcsa full of bs. Another way to stress drivers. What’s wrong with this people. The country going through bad times and this useless agency coming with new regulations. I am tired of this rubbish. Once things start to get to normal I am quitting with trucking. Wanted to do it in March. But can’t stay home and not support my country at this time. They should regulate crooks brokers not drivers.

Thanks amber! I just did everything you instructed and instantly my entire Fmcsa account was GONE and my operating authority was revoked. No user I.d., no password no nothing. I called the port of entry to run my DOT # and it came back as “not authorized “. I even had your video going on the iPad while I was updating my FMCSA account on another device to make sure I did everything as you instructed. Now Monday morning I have to spend 2 f-ing hours on the phone trying to get this straightened out while I miss a days truck wages.

What if you're just the owner and not the driver do you put the driver CDL information in the portal?

good luck trying to create a portal account that is another 3 hour process all case sensative and if try 3 times you get locked out then spend days trying to get unlocked via fmcsa tech heads

I would have never found out how to link DACH in my FMCSA portal and there is no mention of it in their FAQs. DACH couldn't have made that part any harder.

OOIDA is an awesome group. My patients, attention span and computer skills are not capable of doing this. If you are an office/ computer guru maybe. I’m a truck driver/ businessman. Does not compute. Too complicated. I’ve probably got 8 to 9 hours into this, called every help line, waited on hold, I’ve done my best. Link together wth does that mean. ? I gave up. Pay OOIDA to do it. They all tell you it’s easy. Right.

im an owner operator signing up to the fmcsa clearinghouse. i did all the steps up till minute 12:25 when it asks for my fmcsa portal user id... i get a message saying that the username/password is incorrect, but i know its not because i have it written down and its also saved onto my laptop. do i need to give it time until i get approved? you seemed to get access on your first try. why is this?

I just want to say and it's probably has something to do with me being Ole School after 38 years of trucking and from day one a safe driver after almost 6 million safe driving miles that this clearing house is BULLSHIT MORE BULLSHIT! It is very hard for me to see where this buisness is gone unbelievable. Im 3rd generation it makes me very sad. I always rode hard and we played hard and had a good time and no one messed with us and people looked up to us and some opened their house up to us its what I enjoyed the most i wouldn't change anything about the OUTLAW DAYS OF SERIOUS TRUCKING! And look at it now its a job now and controlled beyond belief no more freedom out here. Oh, And ELDS. There is some more BULLSHIT. Not me man I run loose leaf and if I couldn't my trucking days would be over. I love what I do but anymore it's hard to enjoy it and DOT EVERYWHERE its hard to breath Damn. Very little trucking anymore they have killed it for the most part and electronic scales another way to hang yourself they have taking away real time trucking. Some of us i feel don't need to be punished especially if you have a good driving record no all of us need to have our hands held. But it's the American way it takes one bad apple to fuck it up for everyone and life should not be that way. I was never given a "pin". When I got my DOT, i had a registry number. a paper form. I am an employee, not a self employed empoyer contractor. I don't have a pin. I will be driving an limousine bus.

For those of you asking me what this is about. This is a method to track violations meaning positive drug screening and positive breath alcohol tests that a driver may have. It prevents a driver from violating substance abuse regulation and then moving along to another company without having that addressed first.

The website for the FMCS portal is outdated and subject to many cyber attacks also it has a trash UI/UX and I freaking registered but it still didnt work and I took pictures of the whole process so I know I didnt mispell or do anything. I was making this account on behalf of someone else but you out so much regulatory restrictions and shit like people its just people who take good one place to another stop making it so hard or your whole supply dchain and logistics are gonna be convulted and confusing you wont know which regulatoomn or law to reference that you make yourselves
