There is still good money to be made in trucking. It has really blessed me. What I would tell someone is if you are going to do it then get endorsements to run some kind of specialized freight cause dry van and reefer is dead

Cash I Was Park last night at Elgin SC Truck parking was full. There is a back road behind the parking lot at least 30 cars parked there with people sleeping in them. Economy is awful.😎💯🚛

Only way to make a living as owner operator is to have a paid for truck or almost paid for. I can’t imagine a payment on a brand new truck in this environment

I got a paid off 2022 box truck and im barely making it bro. My house payment in california is a whole different story. Theres no money right now. 90% of us truckers are living pay check to pay check. Everyones moment of truth is around the corner and it will manifest itself when that truck breaks down.

Been following you for close to 3 years and appreciate you. EVERYTHING you said was spot on! I don’t see anything changing, I can’t see things getting any better than what it is rn. I hate saying this might be the new norm. These brokers/agents are the #1 problem and then #2 is foreigners running loads for low rates rather it be a company exploiting them or them having their own #’s and that’s their way of doing business

I just bought a new Peterbilt 389 and absolutely hate these new trucks….I had been saving for about five years so luckily I own it outright I got out of a 1996 KW cab over and for the time being it’s a yard ornament

Go Local. Get paid hourly and home everyday. Plenty of companies hiring in the New England area. CDL is a great thing to have.

@@CashisKingtrucking For me 32 an hour, with benefits driving a trash truck. companies in that industry around here paying anywhere from 26-29 an hour. Not using my class A, but its not a bad gig. Looking at indeed, they're a lot of places looking for local class A and B jobs.

I'm in it just to keep the lights on and food in the fridge at the house, no sense working any harder then that. If you saw the writing on the wall a few years ago and went all in on Gold, Silver or Crypto I'll bet you're sitting real pretty right about now.

As far as immigrants are concerned, they are doing it legal. They are given papers, work visas and relocation assistance courtesy of US taxpayer. There are US govt websites telling them we have a labor shortage and need their help.

Not just illegal carriers the big carriers will relay the loads off in order to make delivery times whether it’s contract freight or a crappy spot market load. So the brokers get false sense of reality that everybody should be doing this. These carriers are to blame even the big companies they are bending over backwards for lower and lower rates still making on time deliveries for crap pay.

I think our government should protect its citizens and their occupations by requiring a jobs list of needed or unneeded professions. Obviously anyone that comes in legally to the country and wants to become a truck driver times say 100,000 is doing so obviously legally but they are also still diluting a much diluted industry.. Australia has a jobs list as a requirement of immigration to the country. If you're not on that list / your occupation you're not getting in unless you have about a quarter of a million dollars..

Yes. Good countries like Australia have basic requirements for immigration . if your occupation is not listed on the country's needed list you are not eligible to immigrate to that country unless you have about a quarter million dollars.. that type of policy is meant to protect the citizens of the country not the politicians who require favoritism by newcomers or greedy companies/ industries..
