I would only do the $46k no insulation and build little room office type with kitchen bathroom and sleeper. Also I would eliminate small roll up and do big roll up on the back. Overall it's awesome and pretty. Do a video now same thing but with metal. I think metal cost less than steel beams

It sounds expensive until you break it down to price per square feet, your shop alone is about 30 per sq ft. I built my own in 2006 and it was 16 per sq ft. I did not do the dirt work or concrete but I did do the poly and rebar and everything else so your price is not bad.

Matt your one person with a future Shop. Realize even if you had help, it's still you as help can not always be there always. You have the money to have built or had built will do everythng a garage shop needs. Don't need the desire we get in our youth when we go into a Candy Store. LOL🤣! We learned the outcomes. Just pace yourself & enjoy one minute⏱ at a tme. There are 1440 minutes⏱in every 24 hours🕰& the next minute⏱has yet to arrive. Your outside roofed slab gives you the option to enclose. What about a good exhaust fan high up in rear wall? Keeps the place workable atmosphere & exhaust fumes☠out. in past I used Exhaust Fan with Temp Guage on it & when got a temp hotter would go on. With some equiptment you many want 200 amp service. Put solar panels on your roof & lititum batteries you run mini splits great. With high ceilings takes a lot to keep cool. To heat have you thought of a good outside wood burner? They heat a garage great & make great hot water. You have one going they will go 24 hours. You have options with power. always, Tommy🤠

The insulation is expensive but let me tell you it is WELL worth it in the Texas sun. I know from experience with my building that had no insulation in the Oklahoma sun. The heat inside was unbearable even with all the doors open. Almost made it unusable in the summer.

Yeah, I am really glad I decided to pay for it now. I think it would have been unusable until I could spray foam it

Nice. Who was the builder? Where are they located?

what an awesome size shop. Dumb question but what makes you regrets not going high doors on the 10x10 door side if you already got the other side? What are you needing the clearance for?

Its not a problem now but I don't know what I'll be up to in the future.

Expensive and really love your shop but you got yourself one awesome built shop and it will probably cost way more in just a year from now with these gas prices so all good. Do you know of a good concrete guy that is fair priced to do some dirt work before pouring me a driveway and walkways to my front door plus want a pad out from the front of my house 25x10 here in Yelm, Wa.? Wish I could get myself to put up about a 30x25 small shop for my pro street car so could put a lift in but hate parting with the cash the direction our country is headed.
