Sir iam from Pakistan..no proctologist near me.once fissure surgery done by general surgeon..but again it comes..after passing stool hard or soft..i suffer from burning,pain .all the day Dr said spintcher muscle is tight.. fissure..but i don't want surgery again and again .iam house wife.life is very upset.like hell

I've just recently discovered that I have been doing this thing called stomach gripping (sucking in the stomach) basically my whole life. I started doing it because I was self-conscious of my stomach, and it has weakened my pelvic floor so much. It can happen just from being anxious all the time too. Now that I am learning proper breathing techniques, I am realizing my pelvic floor and my abs work independently of one another but also together. If I grip my stomach, or suck it in all the time, I am not giving the pelvic floor its turn to flex when I exhale. It just sits there waiting to engage and never gets a turn and becomes weaker and weaker. Incorporate learning proper breathing with these pelvic floor exercises and you'll be amazed at how strong your lil' butthole will feel.

Dr Albert is the man. He was my doctor. Unfortunately workers comp wouldn’t work with him so I have another one but I highly recommend him guys. He is worth every penny!

Yes because I’m currently experiencing muscle spasms in the anal from surgery I don’t wish this pain on no one.

Using diaphragmatic breathing method, contract on the exhale and release on the inhale. The gut is a barrel with a top and a bottom. Breathe with the diaphragm, not the chest. It will work keep practicing.

From a month I had a flare up and my hemorrhoids popped out , too much pain and I experienced burning , pain in the rectum and it was unbearable, and I was making sure I was in a proper diet so that I don’t constipate , but still the pain was still there and then I had to go to to see my doctor again who examined me and said I have a anal fistula, and had asked me to go to colon doctor for a surgery. But now from last 3 days I have a rectal bleeding when going to poop and it’s not hard it’s soft only , that’s scaring me a lot. I now don’t know where this blood is coming from whether it’s hemorrhoids what were flared up or it’s a fistula 😢pls respond doctor @chung

Hello Dr. Chung, love your videos, they provide support and hope, a little light at the end of a tunnel, like no others out there. I've been diagnosed with 2 anal fissures, 1 chronic and rather deep. I'm terrified to even try and implement this finger in anus kegel exercise because of the possibility of further damage. 😢 Have any of your patients tried this with anal fissure with any success? Thank you so much!

Hey, question, how do you poop if you're afraid to insert your finger.. I can say, my poop size is like pencil to index finger size poop and still dealing with tight anus too but I'm better this year than last year.. I only had 2 incident this year where my anus kind of got a cut/fissure eventho my poop was soft so I'm assuming I had tight pelvic floor

Great video doc. If fissure is still bothering me for more than 8 months after creams, exercise. My current doc is recommending surgery. Is it in general a normal timeline for that or in general should wait a little bit more. I just wanted a general overall answer. I understand no specifics can be provided but would love to learn in general how long a chronic fissure would be recommended to go next step surgery

@@ksramsheena5973 listen , I too had fissure and stage 1 pile I got surgery for both , while surgery I was sleeping so no pain and the pain only which I felt for 8/15 days was way less than the pain you have when passing stool with fissure , just go for it I go surgery done within 8 days cause of this pain

Get surgery, if there is an abscess they will remove it and place a seton for drainage.

Hi Doctor, Could you make a video on hemorrhoid creams? Because i used a cream with lidocaine and it cause my internal hemorrhoid to prolapse. Initially it tightened the muscles in my anus and i starred having alot of pain. Idk why i got such a horrible reaction!

Plz Dr answer my question plzzzz plzzz I’m really suffering from this fissure My dr told me yesterday that I have to have surgery I’m using stool softener pill and eating good fiber foods and staying hydrated every single day but a little hard stool would make my pain more worse so plz tell me dr dose it have pain after surgery 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻the first 💩 after surgery I’m really afraid of that I can’t even sleep thinking of that plzz answer for me

He mentions the toilet ones in this video. I believe he recommends laying down in a tub as a preferred method as the toilet ones just put pressure on hemorrhoids.

Should you be using the cyst bath salt after a complex Hemorrhoidectomy, inernal and External? Also, would love to see you do a new video of the surgery and the side effects like swelling and possible leakage and how long it may last and what we should do to take care of stuff like that. I’ve watched all your videos and was very informal even after the fact I had my surgery. I appreciate you a lot help me with some of the issues I was going through. They didn’t really see much about the leakage, but thank you.

You don’t know what you’re talking about this Dr. Hill so many people stop with your negativity stop with your negativity crushing people crushing people realities. What do you want them to go? Have surgery hurt worse or after or take a whole bunch of pain medicine that’s gonna cause your organs to shut down that’s what you looking for.

I sought help from physical therapy specialists in the pelvic floor. I have been having a problem since emergency surgery in 2018. I woke up with a spasm, my tailbone hurt like it was broken. And fòr 7 years I have had a small amount of success. The physical therapist did an ultrasound and my pelvic floor was straight instead of round and 2 inches out of place. My progress has been slow, but even a sloth 🦥 gets across a road eventually.

@gilliangriggs6526 If I could turn back time, I would have never had the first surgery. I would look for another option than surgery for an anal prolapse. Because now I live with a constant PITA. Dr Chung really has good information, though, and by following him, I feel less isolated.
