We found a vending machine selling Ice Cream. Located inside Inokashira Park in Kichijoji, this is one of the most popular parks in Tokyo Japan. We’re going to be taste testing all the selections! Yes we are!

The monaka ice creams look so appealing. The concept of encasing yummy ice cream inside a nice dry crunchy shell that wont dirty your fingers?? That spells genius in my book.

The wafer isn't crunchy though. It's like the McDonald's soft serve cone if it had been stored in a refrigerator.

It’s very useful to know the machines have multiple languages! Even with photos the flavors aren’t so obvious, unless you can read Japanese.

@@hypnotika We have cicadas here in Canada too, it's just the way the sound comes through the recording - it's really high pitched and continuous, and it really does hurt my ears a little bit. In real life it doesn't bother me.

I've never seen ice cream bars that look like chocolate bars. That's interesting. I would love to try out all of these, especially flavours we don't have here. Oddest ice cream I've tried was meadowsweet, it tasted just like the flower smells. Surprisingly good

Something so relaxing about the pretty atmosphere and sounds of coins going into a vending machine and plastic wrappers of yummy treats that’s comforting and reminds me of my childhood

Look at you two, just adding places for me to visit! That park looks so beautiful and spacious 😍 And yeah, definitely a smart idea to have some ice cream on a hot day. I just stepped out of the aircraft and the jet bridge is HOTTTT I want some ice cream now

I am so glad that your video didn't have music in the background. I enjoyed listening to the cicadas chirping while you guys were talking. I liked the bird cawing in the background, although I don't know what type of bird it was. The park looks amazing. The azuki bean ice cream really appealed to me, as did the chocolate and strawberry one. Thanks for the video!

Trying variety goods from vending machines always make me excited, especially when I got my super rare opportunity to using them in Japan, couple months ago. Too bad it was too chilly for ice cream back then because it was still raining season (love the hydrangeas). But that's okay. Watching your videos somehow make me feel alot better. Your description for each ice cream taste are pretty clear and imaginable. Almost like I can taste them myself.

I love this video! Thanks for making it, guys. The only one of these that I had while in Japan was the vanilla monaka ice. Mostly, I stuck to GariGariKun (even though it was March and still cold out). Ice cream videos are super fun and your vending machine videos are some of my favorite things on KZfaq.

Anyone else Hate wooden popsicle sticks but love ice cream?! I always keep the plastic wrapper on and push to the bottom and hold that so I don’t have to touch the wood.

I never would have imagined so many different types of monaka treats! I wonder if there are even more flavors, or that is all the types of monaka? The purin popsicle looks so delicious. Even though I love anko, I think I might choose that one this time! Thanks for the wonderful video, and for going out in the hot weather to make it. I hope you will have more comfortable weather the next time you go out!

I love both of your Hawaiian motif shirts! 🌺 🌺 🌺 I notice that all the ice cream seems frozen very hard. That's so nice. Were those vending machines here, the ice cream would probably come out half-melted with lots of ice crystals. I really admire Japanese integrity and commitment to doing everything well. For me, the strawberry monaka looks most refreshing. ツ

There's one ice cream vending machine located near the ticket office for the Sumida-gawa ferry buses, near Ryogokukigan. I used to get one whenever I was walking around that area, also it's great to get one just before you board the boat. Then you can stand on the balcony and watch the cityscape roll by.

I hope to vacation in Japan one day and try these great vending machines. You are leagues ahead of the US in so many ways, your vending machines being just one example. You eat so healthful and your children learn good eating habits so early in their bento boxes. We are growing so obese in our country, we could learn a lot from your country. Keep your vids coming, we enjoy them so much !

Oh WOW! Inokashira Park! I was there when I was a kid. I remember the Swan Boats and my family still have pictures of us all going riding them. The monaka ice cream is still one of my favorites! You can eat it in the heat of summer without it melting all over their hands! Good memories! Thanks for reminding me of simpler, better times!

The 200 yen matcha ice cream is basically 2.50 canadian. In canada those would be like 5 dollars.

This reminds me of one time when I was in Kyoto in summer and I kept buying ice cream cones as I walked along because it was so hot! 😅 My favorite had kinako sprinkled on the outside, but a Calpis soft serve was also really good! (By the way, Calpis sold in America is usually labeled "Calpico", in case anyone wants to try it.)

I like how you can share the monake icecream by breaking them, so clever. The azuki bean icecream looked so good! Lovely park, so nostalgic hearing the cicadas in Summer, takes me back to when I visited!
