I"m 71, a 100% disabled vet, depression, apnea, gerd, IBS, migraines. Most of the time, I function ok, I'm also on a very small SS retirement pension So I clear 50k per year. My 21 year old new wife gets $1200 per month from the VA to go to college, $1000 per month of college loans, $500 per month of pell grant, which covers her tuiton and fees and I get $1600 per month for her as my 'aid and attendence" person. In Columbia, I can live on the latter and her $2200 per month is 4x what she'd be able to earn in her country. It's the equivalent of paying her 20k per month in the US, . PLUS of course, she's getting a free education, entre into the US, and in 3 years, US citizenship. She's agreed to give me 80% of her take home pay when I bring her to the US, for 3 years, then we divorce. and she'll have a 10x better life than she would have without me. Very much to her advantage and I get 5 years of the good stuff, with zero bs into the bargain.

My figure is that girls on dating apps are a basket case with too many problems for my psychological training. Dating apps allow low self-confidence to be shielded; whereas meeting for the first time in person, you can judge the quality of that person much easier. People have flaws and they're afraid of those flaws being exposed. Those dating apps allow flaws to be concealed. This gives the individual a false sense of security in order to be confronted. The same is true for men. Face to face I found it unsettling as to how many women are unattractive. The point is that there are so many people on apps that no one has to try anymore. The ones that are attractive are usually hooked by another dude or in the process of being rotated out the door. You'll find that these girls go right back to the messy hair, stained clothes, wearing t-shirts three sizes too big; and their entire house not even a pig would want to live in.

Being on a dating site is just chasing women with extra steps. Rich himself always says "chase excellence, not women," and I miss his BTT show merely because it touched on chasing excellence more than TUA.
