Please don’t beat up yourself with “I should’ve known”. As parents, we do our best to get the best for our kids and that includes trying new things when it has been known to help others. You are doing so well, mama!! Lucy is so lucky to have you and I’m sure you feel the same way about her 💕

You and Grant are just amazing parents. I get emotional at my own selfishness when I watch how you two have happily dedicated your lives to your precious Lucy. I so forget to be grateful for what I have and to see you work so hard to make her life the best it can be just makes me cry. Even seeing Luna healthy and happy is just so wonderful. I hope you keep making videos because they are truly inspirational.

My son is 7 an he is autistic and epileptic, non verbal. But when he touches my mouth its our sign" for kiss", when I saw Lucy touching your mouth gave me a lot of emotions. Sending you a big hug mama you are doing more then great❤

Been following you for years, we also got engaged, married, had fertility issues and got pregnant at the same time ( literally with in weeks of each other for all of them ), my little girl has pre verbal autism and i feel you so hard with those battles of getting the right doctor for your child, so gald your posting again 😊

It’s so lovely to see you so often. Lucy is amazing, her smile could light up a stadium, and you and Grant are her perfect parents! Please don’t expect yourself to know things you can’t know. You are learning to be a STXBP1 specialist and that will take time - parental medical school is very challenging. Have a wonderful trip and I hope there is wonderful, new, information that will make Lucy’s life easier!

I’ve been watching and also idolizing Leighann since she had brown hair!!!! Yeah it’s been a while so I guess I kind of grew up watching her (I am currently 26) I love that we got to see her grow into the amazing woman she is now. Somehow throughout watching her move houses, first get Luna, fall in love, get married, give birth and all the struggles in between, I’ve felt like she’s always been Lucy’s mommy. Like she was born to be. Like all of that was leading up to her finally getting the thing she’s always wanted most, baby Lucy girl 😭😭🥹👏🏼

Lucy looks so much like your mom , especially when she smiles! She’s gorgeous. I’m a speech pathologist and see so many ways that Lucy is communicating with you with her body language and gaze!! She will probably do so well with AAC! Love watching how you communicate with her. You are a super mom.

She is doing so great sitting up and the way she put up her arms for the bib! We had a bad pediatrician for our first one. He was horrible. He mixed up our baby with two other ones, shamed me for pumping, told me I wouldn't bond with my baby because I was pumping and did not answer our questions at all. We switched after two appointments and it's been SO much better. Don't beat yourself up! You are doing a wonderful job.

I’ve watched you for so long and watching you with Lucy reminds me of my little boy when he was younger (he’s almost 5 now). He has ASD and T1D and sometimes I wonder why us and I’m sure you think it too.
