Tummy tucks shouldn't even be considered a "vanity" or "aesthetic" procedure. If men were the ones who got pregnant and had their abdominal muscles ripped apart then society would take it seriously but because it's women the procedure is considered more frivolous and vain. Your abdominal muscles are crucial to having healthy posture and they help support your entire torso! Not only does it negatively impact your confidence but it messes with your health and wellbeing long-term!

Thank you for taking us on this journey! Not only did I learn a bit on tummy tucks (which I knew next to nothing about), but seeing your journey over the years come full circle with your body changing to grow and hold two humans to now seeing it shrink again is incredible. It’s like a sign of how your body reflects parts of your life’s journey.

Told my husband 15 years ago when the first stretch mark showed during pregnancy, I was getting a tummy tuck when we were done having kids. Just got my mommy makeover; tummy tuck, breast aug, and lipo on 8/31/20. Best decision ever!

It’s very unlikely that this happens with one child, but unfortunately it does happen, but I had twins and my tummy barely has any loose skin so if I only had 1 baby my belly would have gone back to normal

I had my first baby 9 months ago. It's been such a long process trying to love my new body. I also had polyhydramnios plus a 10lb baby and I honestly go each day despising my new body. I'm seriously considering getting a tummy tuck once I'm done having kids. I'm excited BUT not excited to wait a couple years until I finally feel good again :'( Also, Thank you for sharing your story! I remember when I found out I had polyhydramnios, I did some research on it and your videos came up! It had been ages since I last seen any of your videos. Nonethesless I'm back and watching your videos everytime you post something new

Hey I hope this message finds you well. I had a tummy tuck about two years ago due to massive weight loss. It was a difficult decision and the road to recovery was long. It took about a year for my swelling to go down, but by far the best decision I ever made! People talk about the aesthetic side, but rarely do they talk about the health aspect. My breathing is so much better, I feel like I have more circulation and over all feel healthier. Keep using the tape, I used 6 in tape by mm, and even use some silicon tape after 2 months, and use cocobutter for your skin around it to avoid stretch marks. Take it easy with the workout. I would definitely wait until 6 months if not longer. Everyone heals at their own pace.

Hi Lindy! I just want to drop a anti-scar product recommendation that I used for my acne scars when I was in my twenties. It's a Swedish correcting gel called *Cicamed Scar Treatment* that works for all types of active scars, no matter where on your face or body (C-sections, surgical scars in general etc.). Using it consistently for 2-3 months helps fade and improve scars beautifully.

If your scar doesn't fade with time there are camouflage treatments that will give the scar a pigment identical to your skin so the scar basically becomes invisible. They are used for stretchmarks, scars and under eye dark circles and i've seen amazing results.

First of all, congratulations on doing it! Insecurities can take the best of us and sometimes, opting for surgery is the only thing that'll solve that. In an era of self acceptance, it feels almost like having procedures like this one are shamed but I think it's perfectly legit if done safely and for good reasons (an example of plastic surgery I don't agree with is when the patient literally wants to deform themselves to the point it's dangerous). I wish you a great recovery, babe! Live your best life.

Bubz, I haven't watched you in years, though it's so good to see how you're doing! You've always been an inspiration to me. I've been trying to set my goal of getting a breast augmentation & I've been seeing so many women being inspiring & uplifting about achieving a goal. I've watched other other videos about your procedure as well. Coming here seeing yet another woman being so positive about a transformation that will make them happy is even more inspiring. My aunt wants a tummy tuck, having lupus, she was put on steroids & they make her gain weight. Though the weight, 'tis in her belly. Though she's also on blood thinners, so she can't have any surgeries. She couldn't even have her tattoo finished because of her skin. She's started doing crunches in the morning before she heads off to work. I'm definitely going to share your experience with her. 'Tis good to see you're doing well & happy! You look absolutely wonderful & so does your new tummy! Stay bubtiful!

I did not have a tummy tuck, but I had to have a full blown hysterectomy. They cut me from side to side and slipped in a type of tube that held the whole area open so that they could work, and I was kept 'open' like that for 2.5 hours. The hysterectomy was seriously needed, and long story short, cysts had to be 'scraped' off all the intestines, so it took a while. So I totally understand what she is talking about in reference to sneezing. You do not realize just how much you use your stomach muscles until you get cut in the abdomen area. Sneezing, coughing, laughing, picking things up; getting up from sitting; bending over and straightening back up. Even reaching up with an arm. All of the body works as a unit and a lot of our physical mobility depends on the abdomen. I do not even know if I would be eligible for a tummy tuck since I was cut open before, but I certainly do not criticize anyone who has one done. I am lucky in that I have been married for 41 yeas, and the baby belly never really was an issue for me, as the spouse had not problem with it. He knew that belly existed because of the two wonderful kids I gave him. But, if I was younger, and single, and wanted to date, I would absolutely get a tuck. Our society makes us so conscientious about our looks. When everywhere you look you see these picture perfect women slapping you in the face and men 'drooling' over them, how can you not develop a low self-esteem? People do not feel they need to make excuses for getting their boobs enlarged, why would you need an excuse for a tummy tuck? Go for it, if you can afford it. Do what ever it takes to make you feel good. Life is short -- soon you will be too old to care and then you will be dead.

Not every surgeon recommends wearing boards after surgery, and some surgeons remove the drainage tube the day after the procedure. I underwent a mini TT with lipo five days ago. I experienced significant pain on the first day and nearly passed out. My stomach feels too large and hard. Today, I scheduled a lymphatic massage with my physiotherapist to see if it helps. Overall, I'm uncertain if I made the right choice by undergoing this procedure, especially as an active and athletic person. Slowing down my life drives me insane. To anyone considering this procedure, please be mentally prepared as well as physically prepared, it is a difficult process not easy at all.

I was told by my Auntie that she had to be hunched over for six weeks when she had her tummy tuck and that's it was very painful. Your video gives me hope. Thank you for sharing and praying for your speedy recovery.

It's different for everyone. But I think it must have helped that she has been exercising regularly for the last 2 years.

Thank you so much!! It's quite similar to my Baddie makeup tutorial but just with a burgundy lipstick if it helps. I also curled my hair exactly the same as my recent curls tutorial

Gosh pregnancy does some insane things to the body!! That’s nuts how it didn’t just change you cosmetically, it literally caused muscle damage that gave you back pain for years. OMG I’m so thankful that we have the science to fix things like that. It’s great to feel better about the way you look, but it must feel even better to be rid of back pain and to have stronger, healthier muscles again!
