My hubby loves snaring rabbits...with the high snow, he uses an old mop with the head covered in rabbit fur to dust out and blend a path into the snares.

The collapsable pens are next gen technology Charlie .Highly effective, efficient and mobile. We use to call the other set up making a garden . Awesome video, thanks

I hare ya Charlie. When I was a lad I caught a lot of rabbits. Sometimes when I knew I had a good haul I would enlist the help of my brother & brother in law. I had no trouble selling them as everyone ate rabbits. Nowadays, fifteen will do me for the entire year. I broke a new trail today to get to my honey hole & the rabbits leads in the snow were like highways. I didn't set any snares though. If I can't eat it, I won't kill it. That's my motto.

I caught 1 rabbit that a coyote ate before I got it. Had to pull traps due to weather. Put out 1 trap yesterday & now I like your pens! I will have to try it out! TFS💞

Was at a distance but it didn’t look like a lynx. Same colour as a deer. I was floored and then started looking into whether there had been cougar sittings in NL. That’s how i first found your channel.
