I have a Jeep Gladiator 2022 overland! I already got a factory recall on the idling issue and the dealer did a diagnostic test and updated my programming, and no issues were found! I love my Jeep Gladiator! I drove a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee for 20 years and my 1998 Jeep Wrangler for 19 years! I loved them all and never had any major problems with any of them 💯! Good luck with your Gladiator ❗️

I've had jeeps for over 40 years. About 5 years ago, I owned nine jeeps. I'm down to 4 now. Most of my older jeeps had over 2 hundred thousand miles on them. In fact, one I had, I gave to my son-in-law when I gave it to him it had 192 thousand miles on it. It now has 400 thousand miles on it. If you keep up with the maintenance on them you'll have a lot less problems. Yes, I have a gladiator now to, love it.

2022 Sport S Max Tow coming up on a year. Not a single issue. Only oil changes. Auto SS works flawless. I have always left it on and do nothing and it works. Drive smooth. Steering tight. No complaints at all. Sometimes it is the individual car. Had a nice Landrover and it had so many weird electrical issues that never would fix. Always ended up with a dead battery. Jeep is outstanding. Had a TJ back in 97 and it also was perfect.

Almost 4 years in my Mojave, +33k. Had it since new. Never seen a check engine light yet (knock on wood). Just recently did both batteries for close to $900, stop start feature stopped working; truck batteries probably went bad because truck sat for over 2 months at one point. So far, has been bulletproof reliable.

Hi Friend, proud Gladiator owner since the launch. Only issues I have experiences is a broken sun visor (seems to je an issue with all jeeps) as well as the auxiliary battery that plagues most of us. Both were covered by the manufactures warranty period.

I have the 2020 white Gladiator Sport. I had the Stop/Start issue that was resolved by replacing the aux battery. My engine runs very smooth and I contribute that to a practice I have been using for years. Naprhalene is a product that is produced by refining crude oil or distilling coal oil. It it easily purchased in the form of "mothballs". It will disolve directly back into gasoline and boost performance while cleaning the fuel system through to the exhaust valves. This is accomplished by the resulting NO2 and hydrogen . Also a slight acidity that helps clean the system. Addition of one morhball to each 5 gallons will keep everything clean and provide a increase in mileage noted on trips but not on daily driving.

I have a 2022 Gladiator Rubicon, I have not had any problems with it. I currently have it set up for overlanding with a roof top tent. I have a winch, and extra lights, but no lift or bigger tires yet. I have taken it on many trails in Georgia, Florida, and Alabama. The only thing I wish Jeep engineers would have done is put a lock on the rear seats so they wont come up when locked, similar to what they did to the seat backs. If you keep things under the rear seat and take your doors off, all of that stuff can be stolen, and I have recovery gear under my seats. First off, I did not buy my Gladiator to haul or tow, I bought it for wheeling and being able to take the doors and roof off. This truck is great for what I use it for, which is not a work truck. I have around 22,500 miles on it. I am getting ready to head to Colorado for 10 days next week for some wheeling fun.

I have a 2020 Sport S 6 speed manual I bought back in April 22' used. It had 17,900 miles on it at the time and currently has a little over 27k. I have had no issues up to this point. The only thing I did have was a software problem with the radio and control panel underneath it which was corrected by a couple updates. It had something to do with the Apple car play. Otherwise, I love driving the Gladiator and get a ton of compliments on it. I was lucky because it already had a lot of upgrades done to it that I didn't have to make! For example, it has a lift kit, 37" tires, 20" black wheels to name a few. I am definitely glad I bought it. I also enjoy your channel and keep up the good work.

The most wear an engine endures is on startup. Now with a start-stop feature, it starts and stops at every stop sign and red light you encounter. They have done this for emissions reasons and it is such a bad idea for the engine's longevity too complex for my taste, especially with something that is supposed to be "offroad tough" and capable. Jeep used to be tough when it was a Willys Jeep back in the military days, they were simple field-ready, and easy to fix, but those days are long gone. They are great-looking trucks there is no arguing that it looks good that's it. Stellantis knows how to market to people who don't understand nor care cause they won't keep it long enough to deal with the problems. Let's see that truck at 300k if it goes that far. My 2 cents.

The auto stop/start problem extends across the spectrum of JK and JL Jeeps. In fact I have an appointment with the dealer for my 2020 JL tomorrow. I have come to the opinion that they don't have a clue why the function does not work properly. The dealer just got a "new" battery tester and now they are going to fix it. Various users will swear that the main and aux batteries both need to be changed and there is a school of thought that the IBS module is the problem. I believe it is a combination of all three. The Intelligent Battery Sensor needs to be "trained" over several daily ignition start/stop functions with eight hour off periods. When the dealer changed the IBS module they told me that the AUX battery was only charged to 57% but would recharge over time. My suspicion is that the IBS module is keeping the AUX battery from getting a full charge. The auto start/stop may work for a few days then quit. A 140 mile drive yesterday had the auto start/stop working last night but I suspect it won't work today! Will keep you posted!

Love my '21 Rubicon Gladiator, it has been very good from day 1, no issues. That is, up until I installed a set of larger (Quadratec Hard Rock 17" X 8.5" wide) aftermarket wheels with 35" tires (B.F. Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO2). From the on-line company I ordered the package from, the balance job they did was terrible. Took it to the dealer I purchased the Jeep from to have all 4 rebalanced and they are still bad. Issue appears to be mostly in the rear. May have to try to find a tire shop that can do a better job.

Sounds like you bought some tires or a tire that's out of round. The tire dealerships and shops that have a reputation to uphold. You will never see this. But, if you're buying tires thinking a tire is a tire. Trying to save a few bucks. You'll see this happening from time to time. If the tire is out of round. It'll never balance out. You'll have to buy tires again. I've seen this happen to a few people, unfortunately. Buy tires and rims from legit business. You may pay more. But, you'll be satisfied and sleep better knowing you did.

The auto stop issue on the JT’s and wranglers is a real issue. That with the engine oiling issue on start up. I immediately removed the auto start feature and aux battery. Then i out the baxter oil system on it to eliminate poor oiling on start up. Once done, then your pretty good imo. Having a lack of oiling on top the engine on start up, then putting a auto start stop function on that engine seems to me to be asking for premature wear. Im now T 70,000 miles. All good so far.

I love the Gladiator primarily the 392. I work for Chrysler. Had a 15 Wrangler sucking oil in to the air box. Customer did the pcv valve their self. After leaking down and compression test another tech found the silencer pad on the hood to be sucking into the air intake and causing the vehicle to be sucking oil from the crank case. If anyone is having this issue check their first it will save a lot of time.

Occasionally, when I know, I’m gonna go on a long drive I put two bottles of feel injector cleaner and top off the tank. Because the fuel will get burned off right away I don’t worry about it drying out any plastic or rubber in the fuel System. An Italian tuneup with fuel injector cleaner keeps your engine happy.

Buying a new car, any variety, and having it perform worse than the 12 year car your trading in, has got to suck! But it's not all that uncommon today, especially with so much control being given to computer chips with all the new tech they are rolling out. Not nearly enough field testing being done on these vehicles before sending them to dealers. We (the general public) are becoming their test mules and they (the manufacturers) just issue service bulletins whenever enough people complain or die.

My dad bought a new 1974 Jeep J10 back when I was 15. That was one cool truck. I have a 1976 Jeep CJ-5, it is not stock, almost every part on it has been replaced. I've set it up several different ways in the past 25 years I've had it. I would never buy a truck or car with a computer in it. I spent 41 years as a government fleet services mechanic working on that trash. Constant problems with the computer electronics. We would have seven or eight vehicles a day come in with the check engine light on, but still running fine. But being a government department, we had to fix it. We spent more time diagnosing and repairing things that made the check engine light come on than just about anything else. Huge expense to the taxpayers, and whoever brought the vehicle in had to go without it until it was fixed. Often vehicles would come in for routine service with the check engine light on. Whoever that vehicle had been assigned to knew if they brought it in just for that light knew they would probably be without the vehicle for a couple of days, and unable to do their job. We did have a few loaner vehicles (older vehicles that would have been turned in for auction) but we saved them for employees of other departments to use while their vehicle was being worked on if they really needed it. I stick with carbureted vehicles only, and they have been nearly 100% reliable. Plus you can work on them without thousands of $$$ worth of diagnostic equipment and vehicle specific software.

My 22 stock, no lift with 20’s on it got the Death Wobble at 4500 miles on it. They replaced the steering damper and about 40 minutes after leaving the dealer and 10 minutes from home the same thing happened. First time Jeep owner here and it was quite of an experience not knowing about this. The dealer said they have had received many defective replacement dampers. I’m hoping to get it back tomorrow if the part isn’t on back order. Aside from that, I’m loving it! Fingers crossed

My Mojave has these issues that are very annoying and maybe a headache for others. Key fob constantly opening the flip up key and also the red emergency Button will sound the alarm just by bending over. The tailgate doesn't notify you if it's down when you forget to put it up.and you drive off. LED headlights are blinding others and I'm always getting revenge blindness from angry motorists.

I was divided between the Gladiator (MT) and the Tacoma Off Road (also MT). The risk of death wobble and fracturing clutch plate caused me to shy away from the Gladiator. The Tacoma is allocated and will hopefully be built before too long.

Great video, I'm picking up my 2023 Mojave this Wednesday to use for surf fishing in the Outer Banks. Hopefully I won't have any issues. Luckily my friend owns the dealership, so if problems arise, I'll be taken care of hopefully. On a different topic, I paid 64 out the door, for everything, loaded except front camera. Is that a decent price?

I think he hit the nail on the head. There are tons of jeeps. Look for problems and you’ll find em. I’ve never had a serious problem with a jeep. I had 2 engines replaced on warranty in a single Tacoma and a buy back on a troublesome sienna. And as for an ESS “problem” it’s always one of three things. Ground, battery or health indicator. There are lots of problems to be had with an electronic vehicle.

I'm sorry a check engine light coming on and never actually finding out what the actual issue and saying the gladiator isn't reliable is not acceptable. Dude a check engine light can come on if you leave your fuel cap off and drive the vehicle. It could have been something stupid simple. Now my 2020 gladiator had alot of real issues, the transfer case had a leak, the rear lock solenoid failed, the infotainment failed and the back window leaked. Those are real issues but I still bought another one🤣 I love them as well.

I have a ‘21. No problems, just one quirky thing that I’ve noticed. When I start it up and put it in reverse (or manually put on the backup camera), the zoom feature is set to zoom OUT and is naturally grayed out because the camera is already zoomed out by default. If I turn the engine off and then restart it, the zoom IN feature will work. Does anyone else have this issue?
