I think with the Sam Hyde drama the important context people miss is *Sam didn't shoot first.* Up until he was banned last second Sam was as polite and cordial with Ian as he could've been, arguably moreso than he should've. It was only until after being repeated punked and fucked over by Ian did Sam start hitting back hard. You can argue whether Sam was a bit too harsh on him and Anisa or not but honestly I do not blame him given the shit Ian put him through on multiple occasions.

I hadn't heard or seen him in over a decade and literally forgot who he was until I saw Sam Hyde was training him for the first Creator Clash. And here's where he made a miscalculation. If that woman ever breaks up with Idubbbz, he's pretty much fucked. Right? I mean, Tom doesn't show it, but those Discord messages that got leaked of Anisa saying she wanted to break up with Ian, and him pretty much pleading to her to stay with him, I can only image how much of an emotional disaster that will be should they decide to split. It seems like this is the first proper romantic relationship Ian has ever been in, and because he's become so emotionally attached to it, he's willing to make whatever compromises necessary to keep himself to her. It screams unhealthy. But I'm playing armchair therapist here.

I understand that putting together such a big event isn't easy to do, but from the sounds of things Anisa was the one doing the heavy lifting. If training is the issue backlog content before the fight. Advertisement is important, and so is the respect of your audience. I would be willing to bet after the Froggyfresh incident people turned to pirating the fight if not just ignoring it altogether.

The main issue with Creator Clash 2 was definitely the roster. The only 2 new ones I actually knew and cared about at all was Chris Ray Gun vs Froggy Fresh, which, yknow. Last year had at least ONE creator in each fight I recognized, were extremely popular or relevant online at the time, or weren’t just big by proxy of someone else. No offense to Starkilla, but who the fuck gives a shit about watching “the guy who helps on H3Podcast?” As for Ian, his issue isn’t that he changed and ended up regretting and disavowing his old content. It’s that he is doing it in such an awful way while making nothing new besides creator clash, which isn’t really the same. He either talks about drama, hating his old self, or hating his old fans and that’s it. He has just become hating himself and his fans with nothing else. He needs to focus on making interesting content again, and instead of focusing on the drama about how he has changed and grown, actually fucking do something. Nobody likes a person who only talks about how mature they are now and nothing else, it’s sad and pathetic. I also think he has an issue with giving up too easily. With his what’s in the box series he started it, saw it did bad, and instead of changing he gave up. His documentaries were really good content, but as soon as he got called out for how the Sam Hyde one went, he gave up on that too. I think that’s why he was so proud of himself in his CC1 fight, he didn’t give up even though it was clear he would lose.

It's a great point that most of the creators weren't CURRENTLY relevant. There were several big ones, but a ton of the fighters were just relatively unknown. Set up actual interesting matches, even if there are less matches. Also honestly the "edgier" creators are the ones who you WANT in boxing events. Let there be a "villain", don't moral grandstand to the point that you make the villain the hero when these "villains" are actually really good at building up hype (Sam Hyde building up the Candyman persona for example, or look at the Dillon Dannis and Logan Paul situation. Regardless of your opinions on these people, You need fighters who will ACTUALLY market the event and build up hype) You can't just add extra matchups between relatively unknown, milquetoast fighters who can't and/or won't generate any real hype for the event. At the BARE MINIMUM take people who are actually relevant in the current scene and who will generate hype, preferably ones who will actually market the event. I know the idea is "just good clean fun boxing no drama between friends :)))" but that's not how you generate interest in the event

@@TeamSprocket I didn't fanboy, I'm just telling it like I see it. Your comment is super aggressive for no reason. Calm down. I don't care if you like the content or not and I'm not trying to change your mind. I never made the argument that the content is for everyone. I was just saying that "absolutely fallen off" is not a good take. Compared to many other podcasts, the H3 podcast actually appears to have a higher production value. Ethan has employed a crew, created a set, and set up an actual professional quality broadcast studio (switcher with at least 8 camera inputs, broadcast delay, etc.). To say that this is "lukewarm" in quality just doesn't make sense. You HAVE to at least acknowledge that on a technical level, the H3 Podcast meets or exceeds what viewers can expect from most KZfaq shows. "Bankrupt" in creativity is your opinion so I can't really argue that too much. The content keeps me entertained, but I can admit that a lot of the stuff isn't particularly unique. It's a drama/gossip centric podcast with an emphasis on comedy. Not really groundbreaking stuff here but I think that Ethan runs a show that delivers this type of content in an entertaining way. And let's face it, most of what your favorite KZfaqrs/Streamers are doing isn't always the most groundbreaking content either so it's not really a strong point. The H3H3Productions channel is retired and he's stated this multiple times. The podcast channel is his main channel and they post content 4 days a week. These are produced multiple hour shows that have actual segments. There is also a members stream once per week that is basically a traditional single streamer livestream. I would say that a lot of the segments that they have prepared on the H3 podcast rival the quality of his old uploads on his old channel, but that's a matter of taste. I don't think you can question the effort here. Every single upload on the H3 Podcast channel has over 500k views with the strong majority of them reaching the 1M view mark. These are fantastic numbers. Not to mention the crazy amount of retention they get on such large uploads, and their average number of live viewers being over 40,000. Although the views aren't as large as some of his old videos, the impact that his show has in the online ecosystem is undeniable.
