Bro!! It's 9:02a. Jersey time!!! I got home from second shift @ 2:00a., finally got to sleep around 4a., I have to go get flat fixed for my dad, and stop at my rental to fix a leak, oh and be ready for work by 12ish. BUT ALL is ok!!!! because a video from Landberg just popped up!!! And yes, I am taking time to watch the video before I head out!!! Dirty Jersey out bro.!!!

I love the idea of re-use. My Raimondi clips are so expensive, but I do at least save a lot if the clips after I bust them off with the mallet the next day, as they come in handy when you just need 1/8" spacer, especially on kitchen backsplashes.

I'd like to see you remove them the next day. I used a level head the other day and had to use pliers to extract the metal clips from the thinset. Luckily didn't chip the tile but had me sweating!

We always remove them the next day with no problem, it you wait longer than that you may have issues.

They look like a good idea, but I imagine they'll get filled with tile adhesive after a while. I use the spin down version at the moment, and we have to soak them in a bucket of hot water every couple of uses.

What’s the maximum thickness of tile it can be used with.. Also if there’s adhesive behind the tile and it makes contact with the hooking system, there’s a good chance it won’t come out surely!

I would say 5/8" thick tile is the max. If you remove the following day they come out with no problems.

I like the idea of 100% reusable, but what happens if you leave it in too long, does that mean, you can't remove them? But thanks for answering my question that you could use those turn buckles instead of the other clips

You shouldn't have a problem removing them, if you wait too long it might bend the metal on the clip. We use the turnbuckle for a recovery tool only, but yes you can use them for a leveling system rather than other clips.

Yes, but you would need to use the protective shields that RTC offers.

@@raymondlarosa4804 rapidset does but no sober person want to use rapidset if you tiling a whole room. Rapidset is designed for repairing/replacing damaged tiles, and use the room on the same day.

Leveling systems can take a small amount of cupping out of tiles, up to 1/8" It's impossible to get a surface as flat as with a leveling system, unless the tile used is flat. Unless you're a shapeshifter

@@BB-qi2wm i just finished a bathroom with 2nd or 3rd class tiles. It was the most fucked up material i have ever seen in my life. Curved like a bowl. We decided to soak the tiles and use this T-Pin leveling system. We was able to flex back 99% of the tiles. The rest was cracked but really not much. On the second day, the tiles stayed on the shape. Flat as f*ck. All corners are perfect. The only thing we could not do much is the calibration deviancy. (0-3mm Horizontally 0-1mm Vertically) There is no other way to achieve a result like that.
